This ability Tactical IL-2 Sturmovik Attack in this commander : Advanced Warfare Tactics doesn't work.

The line of fire that is used to help us use the ability doesnt correspond where the plane will fire.

The pictures seem to indicate that it begins the strafe before it reaches the target area, and ends once it gets there, doing minimal damage to the actual target as a result.

Yeah, it appears the ability actually targets some point before the real target although when you use it in game you'll notice the FX appear as normal and seem to do no damage.

Elchino did a post about this, that is where he is drawing the pictures from. The OP is describing it correctly the drawn attack line is incorrect with the fire actually be delivered primarily outside of the area.

Only if relic greenlights the fix.

The cause for this bug is that IL-2 strafe cannons can traverse down far enough. Therefore, they end up wasting a lot of their potential.

The IL-2 bombing strike is also off, ends up going on one end of the target square. Its easy enough to adjust but kinda irritating.

I've always liked Advanced Warfare but this buggy ability has always kept me from using it since timely offmaps can make or break you in clutch moments. Fixing it would be a dream come true!
