What do you guys think about the new Jackson?

It has been long since I felt that a unit is in such a good place. The Jackson feels solid and very potent without feeling like it overperforms. It is still a fragile unit, but it can now finally perform its intended role. I personally am in love with the new Jackson.

I think this thread should be developed with a the strategy flavour. I do also believe that the unit is in a perfect state. I am still a bit annoyed that it often gets stuck in the world against the tiny little item, but at least they somehow attended to that problem by increasing the acceleration.

This unit has worked well since Relic finally accepted that the concept of a flanking TD doesn't work in this game.

M10 has to say otherwise

I guess M10 is something of an exception since its low cost makes it somewhat expendable. Even then it's a niche unit, suitable only to a few maps/builds.

I agree, now it's much easier to use them in pairs, which is where I feel they really cover most of the USF AT needs.

M36 really good now, doesn't need any buffs or nerfs, so are all Sherman variants except bulldozer.

The M10 benefits from the core tenant of all strategy: timing.

There isn't exactly too much space to flank by the time the slugger hits the field.

This unit was never meant to be one.
M10 is flanking TD and it does that just fine.
