Check it out guys 2v2+ are at near-perfect balance and 1v1 is within a reasonable margin of error. Time to shut down the balance forum.

In case you're actually serious, 1v1 is far from "reasonable margin of error", unless oh RNGod the IRONY! we talk about brits vs axis, that is reasonable margin of error.

Its REALLY hard to tell recently.
The salt levels went over the safe levels months ago, hence the line at the beginning of my post.

Well made sarcasm overlaps with standard fanboy, you can never be too sure.

As we can see, the game is perfectly balanced.

this is chart from games only between top players. this is from an excellent article by Siphon X.

NOTE that this data is from "24th May to the 21st June, 2016". Before the patch.

But if you remember the coh2chart before the patch, it pretty much showed perfect balance (identical win rates) on 1v1 top 250. So I guess the win rates on coh2chart is not accurate view of the real balance by a big margin.

So if this data is from a previous patch what does it imply about current one?

Top 250? So it would included games were top 250 beat a non-250

I think win/loss ratios of factions from Tournaments are better like the one that was done for ESL

What about balance for the masses? I have seen the most dumbass usf/ukf players be really succesful in 4v4.

US mortar is broken and balance can't really be assessed until it's fixed. Dunno about new T34/76 other than I thought a manpower cost reduction was the best tweak to be made last patch.

OKW needs some additional tweaks but nothing major. Ostheer needs a fair bit of love to remain relevant, and I would really like to see something done about the Sniper and broken 222.

Brits could do with a few additional but probably minor Cromwell nerfs and a few other tweaks. Other than that they're probably good to go.

If things dont really change within a month or so,axis players will slowly leave or switch to allies anyway.Happy balancing.

*gasp* maybe we'll even have 50:50 player distribution across both sides now!

Its more 65% allies and 30% axis atm,in 2 vs 2 at least.Dont worry though more will get frustrated and leave or serious ones will stop playing axis to preserve theiur ranks and switch to allies.COH2 is making progress. All that is needed now is a stug nerf so we can officially declare ostheer a dead faction.
