been thinking about this for quite a while. cant shock troops ride on tanks?

People barely uses Universal carriers for that purpose so i dont think relic is gona waste his time on a feature that barely anyone uses

It was tested during WFA alpha, but was cut before the animation was ever completed.

I guess they just felt it wasn't worth the effort to add into the game.

It's not within the vanilla game but it's still very much within the mod files. You can add it to almost any tank and light vehicle, using the marker_ext within EBPs.

Shoutout to Eebies for the help figuring out that basically any vehicle can carry troops on top.

I'm guessing people are expecting something that looks cool like hunched clinging into handlebars on the side of tanks.

Desant wasn't exactly safe or practical anyways. Negates halftracks/ scout car, and people won't even use it often. Balance wise one can only expect they all die when an AT gun hits the tank.

From an optical perspective it would look pretty badass.

On the other hand, I never used my Halftrack for transporting vehicles ever, so I don't think many people would use it.

It should be put in, so that T-34 horde + PPsh Cons can actually do stuff like T-34s ram into enemy tanks, cons hop out and wreck shit. Give SU some variant plz, I'm sick of Maxim/Shock + SU-76/IS-2 every match.
