Panther Armour

I've heard that the Panther has a hitbox where 80% of the model is considered the front Armour and 20% is rear as opposed to the 50/50 standard on other tanks. Can someone confirm this through game files or something. I know everyone's heard it but i'm curious if it's really true.

think you got it wrong...Think elephant simply has a smaller hitbox than what you see...

If there was actually deflection damage on the bigger allied guns, the Panther armor wouldn't be such a problem.

Thank you for thoughtful insight into tactics. I´ve tried it on my own now! And it works EVERYTIME! Who would have thought that flanking a Panther with a Jackson or a Sherman or a T-34 or a SU-85 or an ISU-152 or an IS-2 or a Cromwell or a Comet or a Churchill is so easy!

Actually t-34 doesn't have 100% to pen
And yes I tried,use m10 horde or Jackson + 2-3 Sherman and you will not lose any tank vs 1 Panther
And Cromwell and comet are Ferrari in disguise

What he really means is... have you tried flanking a panther? It's speed is good even with snare. Have you ever chased a panther in full reverse? haha, I don't think you can keep up with it or flank it unless enemy is AFK or just bad.
