Honestly how can someone imagine and design a shitty map like that.
1- Center completely polluted by mud making any move completely slow: welcome if you try to take it back vs HMGs and paks with mortar covered behind. Your troop finish decimated before making 20 meters.
2- Flanking paths are blocked by choke points big houses easy to defend with a HMG.
3- Forget light vehicle play, mud everywhere in the center make any move completely slow and highly subject to ATguns/zooks/shrecks
4- your infantry finish completely decimated by mortar/arty so easily if catch in the mud.
If you are on the right and want to help left = mud + mud, only safe path is retreating everything to your base and use the other road.
this is an arty-campfest map where you can only use 2 roads with your tanks, full of mines, defended by atguns and HMGs in houses.

They removed cancerous deep snow that slowed movement, why would they put in cancerous slowing mud?

As a reminder, if you dislike a map, which you are entitled to, please do not belittle the creator. Maps are designed by real people, and sometimes they don't go as planned and sometimes they function in one way and not another.
This should not stop you from discussing the strategic weaknesses that make a map unsuitable for competitive play.

The map looks beautiful, no doubt about that.
I can't say how it plays since I don't touch 2v2 but have some respect for the designer (an actual human), even if you don't like it at least just be constructive.

3rd circle of bans for community maps. Mapmakers are great people, and their commitement is creditable, but most custom maps simply dont belong to automatch due to balance flaws.

Besides the first opening sentence of OP, rest is just critic to the map. You don't need to be a chef to say something taste bad.

My post was addressing the first sentence. A map maker takes his time to create something for the community for free on his own time. I would think you might want to defend THAT person instead of the one shitting all over him.

I don't want to defend, the way OP used to critic the map, rather the remarks on the flaws on the map.
Reminder that map makers are not necessarily making maps for automatch. Take Sittard for example. We do not bash Mirage/Bacon for making the maps, rather Relic for putting them on rotation.
IMO the map should be on rotation, but just add more vetos for people who don't like specific maps.
