Yes it is taking around hours to find 1v1,2v2 matches. 4v4 seems to take shorter. And if you manage to find a match you will be playin on the same map over and over.

Dang, just as I feared. This is not a bug so much as a problem with player pop. As player pop falls fewer equally skilled players are around making matching take longer, this causes more players to quit and the cycle continues.
Unless they decide to revert the matching requirements this will only encourage smurfing by finding new partners to pair up with for your first 10 games where you can match with anyone.

I would wait until they fix the map pool before asking for change, I am guessing it putting a lot of people off playing.

No one is playing due to bugs in current build. Pls wait till hotfix drops today to pass judgment.
Previously people were getting paired against high levels and most of the time they would drop on load after seeing cELO. The patch hasn't even been out for 24 hours and already passing judgment is shortsighted and wrong.

I find matchup changed very needed, im tired of meeting noobs on the battlefield, ist just not fun. And when i'm the noob, meeting top 100/50 players, i just go alt + f4.. So i rather wait longer for a game, and i think more people will play coh2 in the long run, because they dont get wrecked!!!

I feel part of the problem is that they released patch with game breaking bugs and thus nobody wants to ruin their ranks in automatch. We should wait for these bugs to be fixed in order to judge the new system. Searching times can be also coused by map choosing bug with certain vetos.
On the other hand they should just give us a trigger to choose between fast and slow search.

Make sure to restart the search every minute or so. This way you dont get matched up vs someone way outside ur ELO range.

Played a few games last night. Had to wait longer, but the matches were balanced. Small sample size, but I don't mind waiting for better matches. Keep the change

No, I don't give a fudge about player skill. it's simply getting somebody to play against, and even when I do after waiting the person is shit.

Seemed to work last night though just been given 2 very unbalanced matchups.
Has this been reverted? I liked it as playing against someone out of your league is just a waste of time for both players.
