Fuel cost for Kubel?

Since kubel spam is an option for OKW and Allies car types units have a fuel cost maybe kubel should also get a fuel cost.

Meh, kubel spam basically gets mashed by both Soviet and UKF. Only faction it could work on is USF because they don't get an early vehicle. Even then it gets handled once m20 comes out, or stuart whichever and they wasted all of that mp for nothing.

I'm going to assume he means 3v3/4v4 which is the only place I have seen it done, and it wasn't very effective either.

I've been building the Kubel a lot and I think the 5 fuel cost should return. Either that or reduce the armor from 4.5 to 4.

I agree for the same reason as they added a fuel cost to the IR halftrack: so that you can't abuse salvage. Not that it's an incredibly effective way of doing so, but the method still exists.

Agreed, put the 5 fuel cost back on. It's the only vehicle that doesn't have one.

5FU would be reasonable for it, because OKW can salvage it back. But i dont think kubel worths anything more...

Don't see a reason for fuel cost myself, I only get one and by adding a fuel cost you narrow potential OKW openings, since one day, much surprise such wow, people might actually WANT to play non meta with Kubel spam.

TLDR: Fuel cost reduces fun openings and keeps OKW volks spamming.

I don't mind it not costing any fuel, but the stats it has armor wise are just plain stupid. It can get away from 3 riflemen squads focussing fire on it.

the kubels gun is like an early free lmg.
5 fuel cost would not that bad, because if you loose your kubel, salvage it and get 5 fuel for free

Putting fuel costs on a Kübel would mean you will face a Volks instead. The fuel cost were removed so people are encouraged to actually use it. People complain about volks spam but demand in the same moment to reduce viable options for OKW. When the Kübel costs fuel, I surely won't build it anymore, even at the moment I build it only dependent on the map.

I think kubel is a great unit. It caps well, it can 1v1 any starting infantry unit (not in green cover) and win. it can back cap and cap other parts of the map that are undefended.

Sorry OP, have to disagree with you here.
They removed the suppress / pin ability from Kubel - I dont think it should cost fuel for essentially a scout vehicle.
