Did you try adding water to it? I'm pretty sure with concentrated stuff you need to add some H20 first before you get the most out of it :thumb:

I don't want to see massive arty spam every Brit game, but currently throwing a grenade is a more threatening option than upgrading an infantry section and calling in the base howies. They are just God aweful and with the Sexton being a flaming pile of poo, this commander is one of the worst atm. Best part about it is the vision.

upgrade with anvil tactic and combine with sexton all HQ will gone

We told Relic in alpha this commander is in a really bad spot and they haven't done anything about it back then. Seems like every faction is doomed to have crap commanders, really unfortunate that you't make this commander work, as much as you try. I tried it out a few times after release and instantly regretted it.

Concentrated barrage costs more munitions and is worse than the Artillery your sections can request :loco:

I never witnessed perimter overwatch hitting any target, yet it has a 200 muni price tag.

Only the valentine seems useful for 4vs4 players because of that radar, but then again every other British commander has more use than this one.

It really does seem like this commander is in their blindspot.

I had thought the restrictions on concentrated barrage were because it could be blind fired (and even then it sucked a massive amount of resources for little effect). Then they just removed the blind fire. I still really want an explanation for this, since it was never a listed change. For all I know it could have been a mistake.

This commander will become viable when base howitzer's accuracy is buffed. I really like the idea of this commander which is munitions heavy and blows up everything! Unfortunately, COH2 is plagued with AMAZING p2w commanders and most default commanders being garbage.

Commander is useless. More annoying still is the fact that it is one of the three commanders available at the getgo for Brit players not willing to spend more money (me).

Arty commander is the current weakest in the line up, but many others deserve mention. For instance, Commando. Why package the highest munitions ability in the game in a commander with 3 other heavy munitions abilities, and with elite troops that require heavy use of grenades?

Every second commander of the ostheer is useless.
While that is certainly no excuse for this commander but if is screwed here I ask a complete reassessment of all commander.
Too bad that the modular commander is rejected by most in the community. that would solve many problems:(

take out the barrage ability and add some new units that toss light grenades like old school cnc games then make sextons cost maybe like 150 fuel can adjust stats to cost.

Valentine is pretty useless as a tank. It has such low damage, it takes 4 shots to kill a halftrack.

valentine is fine with its good recon ability,though Sexton has no advantage

The cost of the valentine doesn't fit its use as a glorified fog of war scanner.

If they're going to make it a tank, it should be able to get involved in some form of fight. If its going to remain a fog of war scanner its cost should be slashed and vet requirements removed.

Slightly off topic, but anyone know what happens if you use the ability and also throw section flares at the same time? Do the barrages happen one after the other with delaying inc on second? Increased ROF?
