I voted no, but after reading the comments I have decided that maybe it is time to finally do this. God knows Relic will never make the t/34-76 useful.

How about to leave the T-34-76 in T4, but enable the upgrade to "Tank Hunter T-34-57 (43)"?

SU need good generalist tank in T4 not another TD, SU antitank gameplay is quite decent right now.

One of the bonuses if KV-1 is moved to tier 4 and T-34/85 is placed instead of the KV-1 in Counterattack Tactics commander, is that Relic can/will get more money for that commander, because the that particular commander becomes the only commander with both Shock Troops and T-34/85s, which is a win-win situation, both for Relic and for the players.

I would have probably said no if this was mentioned again before Brit release, but with Brits existence of super allied tanks and upcoming fixed OKW, i think the Soviets could actually receive access to a more durable generalist tank at T4.

We can adjust commanders accordingly, in which several Ost and Soviet commanders could use overhauls of certain abilities...

Who will ever build a SU85 if the T34-85 is stock?

I think the problem is deeper in the gameplay, having the SU76 overlapping on the SU85 function. Relic could have downgrade the SU85 in T3 with a nerf of its stats, making it faster to build and then T34-85 in T4, more expensive but better stats and with a turret.
But what to do with the SU76 then?

Or

T3
SU76 (stat nerfed)
T34-76 (same stats)

SU85 goes Call-ins with a price and CP requirement reduced

T4
T34-85

SU85 becomes a more-or-less cheap call-in if you decide to play T34-74 and delay your T4. Like USF Armor commander.

I could see the T34/85 as non doctrinal. Would ooen a lot of doctrine possibilities, also makes it more likely to get T4 as sovjets

At least Relic should give to Sovjets the ability to use Shock Troops with T-34/85.

I will.

- Range
- Horizontal gun traverse > 0
- Self-spot
- Decent pen
- DPS
- Even more DPS with vet
- Affordable for what it does

SU-76 is no match for SU-85. Nether is T-34-85 in terms of keeping enemy tanks at bay.

Don't know.

Who will ever build JP4 if panther is stock on the same tier?
Who would ever build puppchen if shreck volks are on the same tier?

If i was allied fanboy i want it too.
Becuase in most 1vs1 games you won´t build tier4 and tier3 and tiger is great suplement as tier 4.
And in higher modes why would you want to build tiger if you have panther with better AT , and werfer with better squadwipes ?

If i want to buff axis , then I surely wont give them tiger to tier 4

They should probably scrap the t34/76 all together and just replace it with the 85, priced accordingly to its power. Replace the t34/85 in commanders with an ability for the tank that makes sense. There is never a situation where any decent player thinks to himself "Hey, I could really use a t34/76 right about now".

I fail to see your reasoning. Do you build SU85 for its abilities when you have T34-85 available from your selected doctrine?

Yes, 60 range, high pen, self spotting. You won't destroy reliably heavy tanks or tank destroyers by using t34/85
