No, I'm really confused here.

Well if he counts sniper as a squad Kappa

And I must say that capturing with tanks is really usefull in close games when all vps are under mg cover and you need less than 10 vps to win, won some matches like that :D

soviets need buff for t34/76 maybe buff it and make bigger cost in fuel for it or give t34-85 as non doctrinal and for its place(t34-85) give T34-100 maybe ? or something else

Still, T4 is not viable. A slight nerf to the SU-76, and a slight buff to the SU-85 would go a long way. SU-85s still get rekt by Jadgpanzer 4s 99% of the time.

As for the T-34/76s, I think a steadier penetration would help. Its penetration is 120/100/80, which leads to a lot of RNG decided situations. Make it the same as the Panzer IV's, 120/110/100.

t34-76 can't hit sh*it I saw video in which it missed 5 times in rly rly close range on pz4 and 1 time shot if i remember well so pen isn't rly a problem but accuracy

Had this been posted a year and a half ago I would have tended to agree. But not today.

As a self-proclaimed Soviet-fanboy I would say that the soviet faction is in quite a good spot at the moment.

That being said Im oblivious to how the balance is in smaller game modes. But if anything I would lean towards a toning down then anything else.

Scripts are good and scale quite well.
There is plenty of AT options available that are good against even the heaviest German cats.

While generalist tanks are missing from the standard rooster I've always found the Red Army in the game to be one of combined arms. You have units that are great at one thing or the other, not best but great, and at the same time not lacking in any department either. While a specialist is best at one thing and totally worthless in another.
Soviet units are great at one thing and ok at others.
Combined they make for one hell of a flexible and great army, with the tier changes they can react to most threats and really get that extra, ai, at, aa, fortification clearing out when they need it.

Id have to agree with somenbjorn, but yeah, in the smaller game modes, the Sovs are still really strong atm.

The T-34/76 needs a readjustment, its performance currently fits the price of the vehicle but its not particularly good, that needs to change, along with a cost increase, and the SU-76 penn needs to be nerfed with barrage made more accurate to compensate.

BTW, I remember in one post, you quoted that the T-34-85 was produced in higher numbers than T-34/76s. however, in 1944, which Multiplayer factions were based on, the T-34-85 was not common, they were only starting to build T-34-85s and replace T-34/76s with them. The numbers that you quoted includes total production so this includes post-war production as well.

Something I wish Relic had done with Soviets was to make conscripts legitimately bad, but make them cost, I don't know, 180 manpower. Then the special rifle command would have actual strelkovy (the "real" mainline infantry). That way, conscripts are just there for capping and to be meat shields for your support weapons while the actual infantry do the heavy lifting. Penals should be doctrinal. Way too niche of a unit to be stock, meanwhile the T34/85 is locked behind a commander. I'll never wrap my mind around that one.

I'd have made the Soviets pick a tech choice to unlock either the T34/85 or the SU-100, but not both. That way Relic could have the tech structure as it now (T3->T4), while stilll "forcing Soviets to make a tough choice" when it comes to having a better generalist tank vs. a better tank destroyer. You know, like the old layout, except better.

Soviet non-doctrinal equipment remains late 1942 scenario T-34/76 SU-85 and stuff are all out dated

Nitpick but the T-34/76 and SU-85 were not outdated in 1942. SU-85 especially, which remained the primary self-propelled tank destroyer until 1945.

I know non-doctrinal T85 would be cool, but relic said several times in there streams that the T85 will never be non-doctrinal.

Soviets currently are fine. Well-designed and well-balanced. Don't fix something that is not broken.

KV8: AT gun to current M42 levels.

Maybe both weapon shoot at the same time like croko? This will no OP becouse 45mm is pop gun.

IL2: SLIGHT, i repeat, SLIGHT buff

I think IL2 don't need buff it need "nerf" like Stuka Close Air Support:snfPeter:

1) Fix Ram

2) Change 1 vet for somthing usefull in fight. Ambush cammo fo example. Of course, this too is historical for CoH2 but hypothetically, why not :snfAmi:

Soviets need SU-100 in a commander! Penals need a buff right now, I have NO reason to build them since cons are much better.

you can kill grenadiers with it, if they bunch up unlucky, falls and jäger light can be wiped if they go out of the house.

I like to use those things, especially a t70 that can cap points is just hilarious. just take what you get and use it.

But i agree that shocks and guards shouldnt have trip wire as vet1

Penals have too beautiful uniforms to be compared to the "trash" Ostruppen, so please atleast let them have their "dignity", since they are sexy as hell :hansGASM:
