Guess what? They are supposed to because of balance.
Cheaper units of similar role lose to expensive units.
Its pretty straight forward.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

still t70 fills the role better as anti inf vehicle than ostwind. if not swap stats and cost of both and i bet 99% of axis playerbase will be happy.

Hell no. Ostwind have far more hp than t70. It is good AA unit and it's kill inf pretty good. So no, t70 and Ostwind are in a good spot.

I've said similar role.
Ostwind isn't exactly below 100 fuel light AI tank.

maybe because it is so expensive it is a good combo.
i think it is the best combo of tanks that you can get with 480 fuel. that is slightly more AT oriented.

Don't forget teching major and another tiers.
Don't forget that Relic probably made this commander for 3s and 4s. You can use it in 1s and 2s but Pershing is situational in smaller games and probably not worth it. Unless you have 2 Jacksons and 1 Pershing as Pigsoup said.

An underpowered unit is a underpowered unit, it doesn't matter how well the rest of the faction is doing. Balance is done by a unit by unit basis and just because a faction is doing well doesn't exclude its underpowered units from getting buffs.
The Pershing currently isn't worth it's cost and needs changes.
True to an extent but each commander should take into account the faction's existing strengths and weakness. For instance people are complaining that Pershing doesn't rank with axis heavies but if it did match them for same cost that would be very bad as the USF already have a dominant early game. They should simply decrease the cost of the Pershing a little on both manpower and fuel. If you give the USF a heavy tank that is as good as any the Ostheer can field plus the Rangers for better AI than any Ostheer infantry (stock or doc) then the USF are better in every stage and in matches between equally skilled opponents the USF will be winning 75+%.

Permanently BannedPershing needs more HP. 950 would do better.
Whenever I face USF as OKW, it feels like I have been strapped down into a mental hospital wheelchair, with legs that can't reach the floor to move myself forward and a nurse is trying to move the wheelchair backwards whilst I have to race a formula one car for a best of three laps.

I think Pershing dps (at vet 3 it reloads every 3 secs) and ability to fight on the move makes it really good. For its price it could be better though.

The Pershing was designed to specifically take on the Tiger and Panther. Just like how the Panther was designed to counter the T34.

the Pershing is useless,it aint a heavy tank with such stats
it cant handle panthers nor tigers and i must flank them with my heavy for gods sake
i can flank with every armor unit USF has and get the same or better results then a pershing
