Why should 17P cost fuel and cannot shoot through wall?

I don't think the fuel cost is the problem with brits it is the damn MP cost especially for mortar pits there MP cost is insane. Of course fixing IS mp drain might help.

It would be unfair for an fuel stared or better said fuel penaltied faction as the OKW to do that. I'd earlier want to see a fuel decrease or removal

Ost ostwind and OKW ostwind cost the same, one is doctrinal one is not.
OKW one isn't cheaper because its doctrinal.
Just saying somewhat related example for the argument.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

I feel like the pak43 shouldn't get an acceptation to shoot through buildings. Its just silly, Units shouldn't be able to shoot through buildings.

Just on a semi-related side note:
Using the 17pdr's garrison bonus alongside the Command Vehicle's current aura buff, it makes the 17pdr shoot at a ridiculously fast rate. It shoots so fast that the reload animation only half completes before it shoots again haha.

Permanently Bannedpak 43 can get decrewed by a summer breeze. From my understanding, 17 pounder can't get decrewed that quickly.
I am realistic and thoughtful.
You're the one who is blind to that, ignoring overpowering synergy that would create for ost, imbalancing completely their tiering and tech pace.

because one is doctrinal and one isn't. Though I can't honestly think of a situation where I would buy a 17 pounder and not just get a firefly with command tank.

The pak43 is doctrinal and the doctrines are not too good (For ostheer atleast) and it gets decrewed or even destroyed from pretty much any decent artillery (With extremely good rng it survives with only a few soldier losses or some light dmg to the actual gun)
And about the 17p emplacement, it doesn't bleed MP when hit with most indirect, doesn't really require to have a reinforcement spot next to it, can take a ST shot to the face without getting destroyed (Pak43 can't survive a AVRE shot for comparison), and it has brace to take even less dmg from any sort of attack
These two are so differently designed that they shouldn't be compared imo
The only thing they should change about the Pak43 is the veterancy, it gets vet way too quickly

This. If you add fuel price, then PAK should resist against heavy bombardment and crew should be un-sniprable.

17 is good but not worth its price.
With today's brace nerf its going to be useless. Just force to brace, wait for cooldown and kill with anything cause you wont be able to repair under mortars or leig fire.
