To be honest, I haven't seen a single mine one-shot in a long time. Even when the formations outside of cover were pants-on-head retarded. Though I'll admit I just might have not noticed it happen...


Yesterday I lost full health engis and shocks to OKW mine :guyokay:

stats are nearly identical they cost 70 ammo because you can also equip them on RE. Stop being biased.

You can equip Brens on royal engies for 60.

You can equip vickers K on every single allied squad in game, regardless of faction in team games, for 60 a piece.

Just saying.

Brens are inferior unless they get used with the cover bonus. and vickers are nothing more then bars.

You do realize that vickers K pretty much = LMG42, being just slightly weaker, right?
It have nothing in common with BARs except cost.

Make emplacements tough vs light mortars etc. Make em very weak to flame and take reasonable damage from tanks/at guns.

Replace Brace with an ability that shuts down the weapon and repairs over time so brits can actually repair their emplacements without losing the engineer squad.

Done.

First off never said i never hit mines, didn't even suggest such a thing, but if that did in fact happen i'd say mines need a change.
Even with sweepers you still hit mines, hell if you didn't what would be the point in them? just a waste on muni.

In fact id say out of everything out there mines, and they way they work within the mechanics, maps, strats and factions are the most solid and dynamic features. There has been a few mis-steps with the damage of some, but after that its effectiveness is purely down to player placement, which is fantastic.

FYI i never use sweepers and get owned by mines constantly, but i dont think mines should change, i think i should.
And to be honest so should you judging by your reply, if it can in fact be called a reply and not a tantrum.

This is one of the suggestions I like. Make them resist light and medium indirect fire (Mortars and LeIG), but they should take increased damage from Heavy Artillery (LeFH) and they should take "OK" damage from Stuka Nuke. Bundle Grenades, handheld flamers all should do "OK" damage when braced.

By OK, I mean something like 50% damage, not the current 90 (80?) percent reduction. They can increase their HP with this change. Brace then should be a toggle ability with a small (15sec) cooldown.

About repairing, garrisoned REs should auto-repair emplacements.

I think green cover change is a direct buff to Brits and their early game.

Just waiting for the Conscript PPsH spam right now. They made absolutely the wrong buff there - they should have given the squad six guns rather than buffing midrange damage.

Remember that allies have penetration problem most of the shots will bounce on panther's skinn so it ll take more shots to die. 1v1 panther vs churchill panther wins.


I have to agree with this. Yesterday I've played a game where I met a churchill tank of the anvil specilisation. I've killed it since that tank doesn't really have any penetration. Although it took me long to finally kill because of it's huge HP.

When you will see an AVRE or Crocodile it will probably be a little different unfortunatly...

PPsh will be in a better shape together with vet change, but its still a downgrade.

Make it very vurnerable against flames would be painful. Almost every Ostplayer (including myself when playing Ost) have the spearhead doctrine or the LeFH doctrine with MHT. Burn it would be too easy. Now with the new incendiary grenades of OKW it would take 2-3 grenades to kill it (probably, havent tested it out yet). (Ofcourse this would only work with the Mortor Emplacement and 17 pounder)

I dont think the churchill HP is the problem, i think its amazingly cheap 140 fuel price tag is, makes them rather spammable.

I would love to see a single 1v1 or 2v2 game when anyone with actually decent rank on a decent game got more then 1 churchill and was able to afford, sustain and repair more then 1 at a time.
