Let's do this, Bring Centaur to Ostwind level, but with slower speed, no armor and of course more expensive.


Love how Axis thing "my units should always be better than allied counterpart"

Centaur is slow as hell, have no AT capability unles you just show your rear armor, have a PIV and make it attack ground.


Except it does have some AT capability. It can mow down light vehicles and and penetrate the PIV from behind and sometimes from the front.

If you have any setup teams in buildings they will be instagibbed, much faster than ever flamethrowers.
They will wipe infantry even if you instantly retreat them. They can just move A move against multiple AT guns no problem.

They are fucking ridiculous and you are a fanboy if you don't see that. It has nothing to do with Axis units always being better.

Yea Centaur is definitely overperforming, I don't think anyone would argue otherwise. I think a fuel increase to 125 or so combined with decreased damage against team weapons/AT guns through target tables should make it ok. Oh and fix the damage against units in garrison of course.

Also the Centaur comes out way too quick.

You want to build a Centaur,you need 30+115+100-20=225fuel(if rush)
You want bo build an Ostwind,you need 10+40+20+45+75+100-20=270fuel(no 222/251)

Yeah, Centaur is the most overperforming unit in the game imho.
I hope relic will bring it in line with Ostwind.

The Centaur is very badly balanced.

The best way to get this changed is to prove it's imbalanced to Relic.

The best way to prove the Centaur's imbalance to Relic is through heinous, ceaseless abuse.

Please, for the good of the game and this community, abuse your Centaurs. :sibToxic:

Dunno, Just too hard for axis to get easy strat aka sniper 222 for Osth or LeIG retard gun into JPIV....Wich as no counter as UKF.


But no UKF is op faction with OP units.

This game strat to disgust me...

As I said many times, if you let UKF have tanks, you're noob. You will ruin them easily early game without effort (LeIG + snipers)

Jp4 is 400 mp and 140 fuel, which is harsh with fuel penalty.

Stug requires t3, but ostheer can't go without t2 and 320 mp expensive pak 40, so stug will take you some time. Meanwhile, centaur is achievable even when you are on the backfoot

Making a centaur is as close to playing with cheats (besides air supremacy) in coh2 as it gets to be honest.

Ez mode, good to see aimstrong and co abuse it in every match which at least proves its foolishness.

I've took it out already so many times. Perhaps nerf it's dps, since they kill everything faster than an Ost could ever do.

It's a really good unit. Maybe the best anti-inf weapon. I call it a feature of the Brit army as the tigers are to the Axis. Asymmetric balance : Its what make COH2 interesting.

Normally a Panzer 4 or a Stug should be able to get ride of it, if not make it happen as it need a hard counter as all other units. But don't nerf it!

OKW has 0 tech cost for that JP4. It should be on the field even before the Centaur. (2/3 fuel rate included)

Against Brits, Ostheer can actually skip T2 since they have no light armor (AEC having hardly any AI capabilities, and Bren can be scared off with MGs).

Btw: Ost needs 250 fuel for first StuG (skipping t2). Brits need about 220 fuel for first Centaur (without upgrades). The Ostheer early game advantage should easily make up for that difference.

It's like playing against OKW. You think you have outplayed them and then they come back.
