Considering that the Vickers costs that much more though, I would like to see its utility scale somewhat as it Vets beyond veterancy level 1.
the vicker dps is about 10 percent higher than the mg42, but with a lower suppression.
the vicker trade suppression for dps. it shouldn't be more expensive since it have a tougher time working crowd control.
With vet 1 ok, forgot to mention it
the vicker might get situational better range at vet 1, but the mg42 get the powerful incendiary power at vet 1 as well.
in fact, the mg42 with incendiary will easily kill a vet1 vicker, assuming it's in range. I don't think there are many buildings placed at the perfect range for the vicker to use its range advantage against another garrisoned mg42. the incendiary allow the mg42 to one burst kill the wasp as well.
