to start off, let's explain the recloak mechanic for the ost and sov snipers.
A sniper's recloak time increase each time he takes a shot, up to a maximum of 20 seconds.
For an ost sniper, the recloak time is 2s/4s/8s/16/20s
for the sov sniper, the recloak time is 3s/6s/12s/20s
for the brit sniper, the recloak time is 6s/12s/20s
the british sniper takes too long to recloak after one shot. 6 seconds is enough time for the axis to either focus fire him or simply snipe him. The british sniper needs the same recloak time as the ost sniper, seeing as how they are both one man squad.

This sniper is soooo strong. Damn.
It's hard to kill it and it's a sick unit. Needs less babysitting than the other snipers. Also, it took a mortar to the face and didn't die.

The Brit Sniper is absolutely incredible. He is way more durable than the Ost sniper, and does th most damage per shot of any unit in the game I think.

Thats really low quality trolling, you have much to learn.

Just my experience thus far.
Meanwhile some facts:
Brit and ost sniper have exactly the same hp, but brit sniper have 300% worse camo and much slower rof.
Snipers always kill infantry with one shot, so damage is irrelevant.
Brit sniper does 40 damage to vahicles, same as PTRS, but shoots 300% slower then it.

the british sniper have the exact same hp and size as the ost sniper. 82 hp with size 1.
Maybe people are just not used to firing at ost sniper considering the ost sniper have predator cloak.

I'm glad about this because it means no stupid sniper wars
there's no sniper war because the british sniper get curbstomped in under 6 seconds.

I can live without being able to cloak fast personally. I've got that nifty hold fire button to use. Once the Ostheer Sniper fires a couple of shots (Taking longer to cloak after each shot), I order my Sniper to fire his first shot to take him out. Just wish Reinforcement costs didn't hurt so much...
But in the end, I don't recruit him to take out snipers. He performs very well for other targets like AT guns, flak guns, mortars and MGs. My favourite unit so far.
Question: Does he have the same range as other snipers? For some reason, it feels longer.
