Playing USF is a waste of time in team games. I am talking about 3 vs 3 and 4 vs 4. Its just USF is too weak and fragile. Late game USF is not even present in. Something gotta be done. Where are the promised rangers and heavy tanks? When will they be introduced?

Relic producer said playing coh2 should be a pleasant expirience. Fuck no, not USF. Other factions yes, but not USF in team games.

For large games like that as USF you need a prodigious ability to micro. But the biggest problem are the Jacksons. I find that one is fairly easy to handle, but if you have two or more then they frequently get stuck on terrain and on each other. By late (or late-late) game, you simultaneously need at least 3 Jacksons and 2 Scotts (or Shermans, or some other AI), and you have to play a game akin to 'floor is lava' with the multiple roaming shrek blobs and Target Weak Points while all your tanks are spinning on the spot, getting hitched on pebbles. As Soviets, you just get a well-maintained IS2 and your regular other units. While you are doing all that, you must manage your Rifles for capping, smoking, flanking, and dodging grenades.
I think the USF situation in the late stage of large team games could be largely helped by giving Jacksons more maneuverability.

Yeah, It can get tough in the late game when you have to micro a bunch of fragile tanks vs a couple axis heavies. For that kind of games the airborne commander seems to work the best, the rocket strafe can heavily damage tanks and force them to move so you can push with your armies.

USF even with the upcoming patch so far looks like a 1v1 faction. Brits on the contrary look like the exact opposite of being a team faction and not a 1v1

I think that Brits andUSFSoviets in 2 vs 2 will be unstoppable if played right.
Spam cheese faction + Quality faction = Super advantageous.
No need to bother with the limitations of USF.
Especially when there is a Brit commander that can give cons dual LMGs (at the brit player's expensive, but not like the faction is reliant on muni for everything..)

Team games in general have a lot of problems and it appears fixing them is not at the top of Relic's priority list.

hopefully they wont be shit post September 3 patch we already seen the leaked alpha images of the M26 Pershing so expect and anticipate changes for the USF in the future
