Out of curiosity... What if the smoke also did some damage...similar to the way the ober's and Fall's smoke grenade does? Or do you think that's too much?

It'd certainly help clear garrisons... But i suppose it would make team weapons harder to use against OKW...
But then again, it'd be similar to the Howitzers ability.... But the howitzers ability doesn't block line of sight...or does it? I can't remember the last time i used it x.x;

Considering there are no non-doc smoke abilities besides flaktrack's Panzer Tactician clone, yes.

At the very least, replace the useless Hollow Charge ability; if anything, it should instead be a direct-fire toggle/ timed ability, not a barrage.

White Phos blocks LoS, drains health (but doesn't kill), slows movement, and disables the weapons on tanks.

Germans didn't use white phosphorous artillery.

Toggle able smoke/HE is the solution.

Why the hell would it need to be togglable and not just a barrage like everything else. Constantly firing smoke rounds doesn't even sound like something that's even good.

That sounds like it would be ridiculously awesome. Smoke everywehr!

Not trolling. Free auto-fire smoke shells would be really useful, especially with the Brits coming. Each shell would make a smoke poof analogous to like half a shock troop smoke grenade.

its vet lvls should be looked at

cuz as it stands now you get a scatter reduction at vet 5 and we all know how hard it can be to get there

other vet lvls bounuses dont fit the roll of the unit that much

This too, or at the very least I think it would benefit from reducing the Vet requirements so that it vets faster... I think I've maybe gotten it to Vet 3 once.

Keeping with the smoke theme, if they added a "Increase size of smoke screen" somewhere that would be nice. Scatter reduction in the higher tier vet too.

Current Vet as per the Veterancy Guide in here.

Unlocks the 'Hollow Charge' ability

+25% speed, -23% received accuracy

-40% barrage recharge, +33% barrage range

+100% shots fired per barrage

+30% penetration +50% damage
