It's quiet good. Actually I enjoyed it more than Band of Brothers.
Another Pacific-based one is Letters from Iwo Jima.

The Winter War is a long movie but it's worth every minute

Stalingrad (1993), my most favorite movie. I also enjoyed 1944 highly!

Brestskaya Krepost is also a good one, more of an action movie if thats what you want.
"Fury" is a recent good one if you haven't seen it. (Watch it for the zeitgeist of the war not the action scenes.)
"Untergang" is of course a must for any of these lists.
So is the "Liberation" (Osvobozhdenie) series of films. Take note it is from the Brezhnev era and has many great moments and battlescenes but also a few shoe-horned scenes for propaganda. Overall a must-see.
For movies about large battles, "Longest Day" about D-day is a great classic and really a good movie, apart from the once already mentioned.
There are a couple out of the USSR that are good but finding subs can be hard. (Battle of Moscow series.)
Stalingrad from 2013 is a total meh, Enemy at the Gates a cringe-worthy abomination. Only good Stalingrad movie is the one from 1993. Watch that
There is one new that came out this year called "Bitva Za Sevastopol" But I haven't seen it yet.
Finish "The unknown soldier" about the continuation war is good along with The winter war if you want to get in on that part of the fighting.

The Bridge at Remagen. The Big Red One. Ice Cold In Alex.
Battle of Britain. Dambusters. Tora! Tora! Tora! Midway.
The Cruel Sea. Sink The Bismark.
These are considered very accurate films (aside from some small changes for marketability or storytelling):
The Great Escape (some yanks added for marketing purposes)
Battleground (especially for its time)
12 O'Clock High
Best Years of Our Lives (about US vets returning home)
Cockleshell Heroes
The Man With No Name
Das Boot
Pearl Harbor (ok, J/K)
Kelly's Heroes is known for decent accuracy in its use of tactics and weaponry (except the Tiger since none then existed for use) and is a very entertaining movie.
Non- WWII:
Gettysburg
Zulu
All Quiet on the Western Front
