We originally considered seeding Fir3ball (the champ of Season 3) into the Contender Bout #1, but it was impractical with the 10 or 11-week schedule. It's better that everybody has to earn it, anyways! :)

Hi! i have some questions:

1- Is great game (Program that changes fast keys) permitted?
2- I downloaded Screenshotter V3_31 and I tested it, but...Why my screenshots are blacks when I am in game?

Second Quali tourney is Dec.2. Sign-ups are today (Sun.Nov.25th) starting at 8pm GMT.

We can't stop you from using GG or auto-hotkey scripts, but many players frown upon the practice.

So is the final four going to be a round robin type where everyone gets to play everyone and its based on a points system? maybe a Bo3 series? I really think that would much more entertaining then just having the brackets meet. I mean this is the last CoH tourney ever probably and there players are the cream of the crop. Just some food for thought.

For the 2 semifinals between Aimstrong vs the winner of third qualifier and symbiosis vs the winner of fourth qualifier and the finals of SNF S4 will we have Ango, Semois, and Langres back into the map pool? I kinda miss the epic Bo5s on the best 3 maps of CoH featured in S3 of SNF

The maplist for those series aren't final yet. It's still being discussed ;)

I would also like to see more matches on the big 3. I like Argentan Crossroads, but Bois du Chatelet (sp?) just seems too large and slow to be exciting to watch IMHO.

Agree with Qvazar, games on that map last Sunday were very campy and repetitive.

I got another question about SNF S4! :)

Maybe it's unlikely for us as we prefer watching SNF on sunday evening over watching a football game in TV :) But when I do the second, I always miss the tactical aspects in a football game, as they are not presented on TV. The directors and camera men often choose a detail of a skirmish. As an example, a little engagement in a corner. As the spectator in TV then, I cannot see how the other players are moving to get oneself in a better position and so on. The ball is then passed to another player or in front of the goal, and I see there are players awaiting, but I cannot see why or how they moved to this position.
The same applies to the broadcasting of Company and Heroes in SNF. Of course, it's interesting and appealing to see whether a counter snipe is successful or not. But as in football broadcasting, I cannot see tactical decisions of the team, resp. the player. I.e. why does he send a squad in that corner of the map and so on. So, finally, my question is: What about broadcasting the tactical map in a second stream? :)

That's a nice idea, but would require another broadcaster dedidcated to watching the replays in tac-map mode, synching them to the casters, and broadcasting on another channel. We're understaffed as it is and I couldn't imagine asking somebody to do this for this Season. It's a great idea though and something to keep in mind for future SNFs.

Staff seeds them based on previous tournament results.
