US is far from UP they are stronger than they've ever been. L2P. If you want buffs. Then ur gonna have to revamp quad riflemen into m20 critical mass 5 minutes into the game.

Guy, you dont know nothing about playing as USF. Start play then, or dont write about USF play anymore.

USF need light mortar in first HQ.

you might wait for the british, I found both USF and Soviet are way too commander dependent AKA boring as hell

And one British commander would also make cons worthwhile late game

Honestly I think US players are butt-hurt they can't rolf stomp everything with rifles early game now.

How to recognize people who have never played a single USF game.
Above we have exhibit A.

I'd love to see you fighting against current MGs and sniper while being outnumbered because 240 worth units and combined arms>280 worth units, only hope is fast lt into fast M20, hoping he won't have 222 by that time.

Times of poor ost being stomped by USF ended the moment ost players realized there is more then grenadiers in T1.

smaller arc of fire for MG42?
The MG should be good at what it does, but careful positioning should be encouraged and the enemy should still be encouraged to try flanking. Why can't it have a slightly smaller arc of fire (like in CoH 1?). It will stil be good but acts more support-weapon-ish. I just think it would make the game more interessting. The MG should feel meaningful; weather or not you enter it's arc of fire should matter. Such a system can only be achieved with a smaller arc of fire IMO.

In 2v2, the strength of USF/double USF is highly map dependant. 2x ost v 2x US: easy win for wehr on crossing. Easy win for USF on farmlands. USF is very strong against OKW.

In 1v1, I've never actually come across a USF player that can pull off a decent flank, even with smoke. So I'm assuming the players just suck and need to l2p. They complain about the ostheer sniper but I haven't seen a single attempt to ever flank him or catch him on the retreat.

Anyone who complains about the power of ost T1 is an idiot since you simply can't reliably go for a big T1 because of the M20.

All this drama for an Aoe HMG suppression buff ?

Someone said

"Fun fact:
CoH2.org is the only place where people are surprised when the features are working as intended."

Right ?

MG in Coh1 was even better, and US no smoke

maybe you dind´t play COH1...

maybe you dind´t read this thread before anwsering...

anyway:

Maybe the game was different. Jeep could scout, Rifles were cheaper and had more models, weapons teams came out earlier, and the USF had snipers. Plus global BAR upgrade, plus Motor Pool. USF was way more spammy in vCoH. Not the case here.

Sorry about that, I thought I skirted around that subject.

Could you modify the NDA reference out of it? Or is it deleted into oblivion? I think you know the point I'm trying to get through.

Lol 10 min sherman is now even more effective being able to drive through and gun down gren spam and people are saying USF are UP? :snfBarton:

Try playing as OKW vs someone that knows how to use a 50.cal, then you will learn the meaning of UP.

Ostheer also needed nothing more than CAS with LMGgren and PAK spam. But I bet you applauded the changes to the StugG and HMG42.

10min sherman is countered by 7min stug in this patch. at 10min, you have 2 stugs .:foreveralone:

The patch is interesting, it brings Ost and OWk early game above USF, Coh2charts is going to be interesting to check in a week or 2.
Now, I don't know if USF needs more, but I have the impression of a deja-vue with the Kubel insta-pin, 8-7 months ago it was already the case and made faction disappear from automatch. I would not be surprise if the same happens, even harder since USF early game is also shut down by Ost now.

And I'd love to see you play me for once? I'll even play as USF and you can be Ostheer. Up for the challenge yet big mouth?

Sorry, but your comparsion is pudding. You are compareing ammo which you are investing in your troops to make them deadly vs ammo you just must spend to stop MGs (you are not investing in your troops).

Just as yours are because you don't 100% of every game need to spend 200-300 munitions in smoke to have a chance against machineguns.
