usf is un-playable. mg spam is impossible to deal with.

after your 3rd rifle teching nades is a must. As the game progresses you run out of munition trying to use smoke.

as soveits con spam isn't viable and mortar needs to get lucky to be usefull.

Dshk is op, like the 50cal, does a little too much damage

mg42 and 34 need a price increase.

Every match I had today were the USF player blob'd like so many typical USF players are wont to do he got owned, every match I played were the USF player actually spread his shit out instead of resorting to a LOLCPTPRICE blob he was a real challenge.

I think people are just assuming you can play USF like you did before by amassing a huge horde of rifles and sweeping the map. Use the new .50 cal, use the new Stuart your call in's aren't limited at all.

US faction need love as they are boring as hell to play with and with the hmg revamp, life is now harder then ever.

If i compare to all the other factions (brit included) they feel quite unfinished. They are sorely lacking options. ( i can't see how relic manage to design such a lackluster faction.)

Next patch quick plz and put the focus on improving the US all around.

thanks

I don't blob, so....?

Well, not anymore at least :snfMarcus:

Blobbing isn't viable anymore, MG's finally doing what they are supposed to.

Eh Lemon, 2v2 I guess is a bit different with the maps offering better lanes plus higher unit density, but I'll say categorically, in 1s, Guard Motor was the strongest individual commander prepatch, and it only got stronger...and this leads me to believe that their balance lead must not play his own game.

Yes since guards got AI buff T1 Guard Motor "mollo type strats" has been "OP" in 1vs1 against Werh combined arms, 2vs2 not really. Top players that like to use combined arms like Luvnest die to T1 mollo strats/guard motor all the time because Werh T2 except maybe pak guns are not very rewarding against 4 guards and 5+ M3s that stall for call ins.
Luvnest is one of the best 1vs1 players to use Werh combined arms (T1+T2+T3) and thats sorta playstyle just dont work good against these type of Guard Motor strats which is lame.
The whole point of the patch was to promote combined arms so yes 1vs1 Guard Motor need a nerf so soviet actual have to tech.

Currently to beat T1 Guard Motor with M3/guard spam in 1vs1 all you need is:
gren, gren, gren, gren, gren, gren
:bananadance:
Sometimes perhabs a sniper if soviet like to use sandbags. Maybe some s-mines and then the game is usual over within 10 minutes (unless soviet get squad wipes).

Yes in 2vs2 you got "lanes" which allow combined arms but in 1vs1 if Werh try to actual take some map control and spread out, well thats not going to work against M3/guard spam.

I do think more USF play might be needed as the patch is very new and all the USF players I have faced in 2v2 are still blobbing like there is no tomorrow, also didn't the Stuart get buffed has anyone tried it?

In addition in 2v2, Soviets can contest points with T2 and Guards and wait until 4 T34/85s (at this same time I had 2 P4s and a Stug) and they still drove right through my defenses on a wipe spree.

yeah, i understand 1v1s and 2v2s are different, thats why i noted in OP that these were 2v2 observations and thoughts

edit: just some more theory crafting atm, but i think the new way to play as USF might be to play a lot safer in the super early game, be less aggressive and stick to your territory and get out a major purchase before you try to make any plays. i dont think its worth to walk into fog and possibly the arc of a machine gun that will force you to retreat and let your enemy take more territory.

Exactly, especially with buffed .50 and Stuart. Faust nerf will make fast Sherman deadly if Ostheer doesn't have Stug.

I actually had a Su-76m finish off a Tiger and deal considerable damage to it, which is impressive.

Using it actually didnt feel like having a handicapped unit. I still see people use the su-85 instead of the su-76m, which is weird, at least to me. For 45 fuel less, you get nearly the same result...

And no one is surprised that telling su-76s are very good now was automatically translated as they are OP.i guess no surprise it would come from Katitof.

You can't contest the uncontested master of trolls and soviet hardcore fanboys.
