2 Panthers cost as much as six T34/85's, doesn't that seem a tad wrong to you?

AND btw Two Panthers DON'T equal SIX T34/85s. Jesus. Six T34/85s cost 780 fuel. So two and a half T34/85s maybe (without tech costs) With tech costs its about four T 34/85s (two panthers with tech 535 (skipping T3 building). You can also get a Tiger with what is left

(175*2)+130 for BPs+55 for buildings as you'll be skipping T3=(260*3)

505=780

Yes. Mediums and heavies no longer will run with tail between their threads when basic infantry troop walks their direction.

You said the Soviet player can field 6 T34/85s when you could field one Tiger. If THAT was the case you had been outplayed severely, as he has had access to a lot of fuel and excess manpower.

I brought up the two panthers scenario, to illustrate what you COULD have done, if you were NOT completely outplayed and is sitting on a lot of resources, equal to the resources the Soviet player who fielded SIC T34/85s.

So either you didn't read what I said or you are intentionally diverting.



you forget that ostheer teching is expensive, soviets need not to tech any further than at nades and at guns and (which they can get in t2 which they can build right away) than safe up for call in t34-85s. Good luck with getting your 2 panthers, they will cost you just as much as 4 t34-85s :wave:

Skipping t3 haha, you really want to lose as ostheer don't you

535 is the cost for teching t4 without t3 for ostheer and getting 2 panthers. calling in 4 t34-85s costs 520 fuel. 4 t34-85s will rape 2 panthers.

I'm rather positive that ost teching doesn't cost 500+ fuel as alex is stubbornly trying to show for some defying any logic and common sense reason.

Also why would you want panther against 34/85?
Have you not read the stug changes? StuG have just become 2nd if not 1st most cost effective TD in game.
Spammable, like alex posts, cheap like tea makers arguments, firepower of SU-85.
Name me ONE reason why you would not want as many of them around your tiger as possible?

This is probably because Relic thought guard motor was to weak, guards are now in demand. A guard-con-combo will be the way to go. As if the options wasnt bad already, my guess is that a lot of players who are using shock rifle (the other option of two) will go guard motor.

4 t34-85s plus marked target is dead stug g. If it makes a tiger useless, you bet stug g won't fair any better.

Don't use single stug against 4 T34/85...?
They are dirt cheap, spam the hell out of them, by the time he'll have 4 85s, you'll have 4-6 StuGs assuming equal map control.

I think i did the whole math thing about two panthers on a previous post. But you don't even need to tech up and get panthers. Stugs are an effective counter to T34/85s now

A Tiger and three Stugs should be able to beat 4 T34/85s. Throw in an AT gun or Two. But really, I have hardly faced four T 34/85s in a 1v1 unless I have done really bad in that match

If you think like that all the time, I understand why you need so badly two Tigers to kill two T34-85... And probably why your are losing many of your games.

The su doesnt have unlimited amount of mp or popcap what you are saying is highly unlikely. and you need some practice and planning with the stug perhaps. But after using the jp4 and elephant for so long it has become easy for me. Also during the alpha the stug encountered units that where just as mobile and with better armour and it performed well against these units.

Also keep in mind that a stug nearly has twice the amount of dps as a panther. heat rounds to stun any 85 ( basically is a certain kill if 2 stugs are present)

Good patch notes... But as an Alpha player Im also a little bit disappointed at the same time.
Hope they will introduce further changes in another patch!

All alpha changes in one big patch would have been great!
