The point I'm saying is, were Soviets' late-game intended to be built around their call-ins, there would not be commanders for them without late-game call-ins. If it were such a simplistic design rule, the large amount of commanders contrary to that would definitely have not happened.


competitive commanders are actually the one with call ins.

still waiting for a guards is2 commander. oh why not slap in a mark target and conscript repair too.

Sounds imbalanced. Could you imagine spotting scopes, smoke, Stuka CAS, Tiger, Resource conversion?

Sounds fair to me.

Being able to know everything your enemy produces, heavy tanks, conscript super rifles and conscript repair sounds fair to you? With that much utility You'd have literally no reason not to just go con spam into is2. They should call it Conscriptoviky call-insk Tankoviky spamka or bullshit in english.

there are plenty of shit commanders for both OKH and USSR. even USF and OKW have bad commanders.

But USF, OKW and ost doesn't get punished by losing the game without a chance to stand up by picking them.

If you have a problem with Soviet Call in Meta game, why not make replace T-34 with T-34/85s and have IS2 non doctrinal like KT.

I agree with this to some extent.


The Soviet call-in meta is spoiling the game but it's not like there is a better option for players.

The delicious axis tears are the best sign that the changes were needed and spot on.
IS-2 wasn't changed, exactly same things that countered it last patch counter it this patch, KT included.

Funny that you are still same noob as I remember you use to be - well as somebody said some people will never change.

What a lot of people forget, or possibly never considered, is that some Commanders were also intended for use in TOW, and originally you were hardwired into using a limited selection.

Now it is very hard to design a Commander that works in 1941 TOW and is also useful in 1944-5 MP.

That is why the Soviet Common Commanders include 2 that are good in MP (in fact the two best) and 4 of the ones that are vanishingly rare.

There is a similar issue with Ost.


Now, Relic have never come out and said this, but it should be quite clear if you consider it for a moment.

Accuracy is the main issue, reduce it's HP but improve it's accuracy and scatter significantly.
