If ost is fine,OKW is double fine.
If grens 5 man would be 'unkillable' and blobber, then panzergrenadiers at 340 mp getting one shotted deserve 5 models or survivability buff..coz they suck shit for their price.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with grens, and they scale just fine.

When was the last time you played 1v1 as Ost vs USF?

ETA: Just to be clear, I think Ost is currently broken, especially vs. USF, but I don't think adding a fifth model would fix the underlying issues, and would probably exacerbate other issues or create new ones. Nerf Obers, make the OKW schreck the same as the Ostheer schreck, nerf rifles' DPS at range, increase suppression (or burst length--I like that idea a lot) on the HMG42, buff health/armor on the 222, reduce teching costs for Ostheer, and I think you're in a pretty good spot as long as squad AI behaves better.

I can support your post 100%. 5-man 280 MP grens is definitely something Ostheer needs considering how damn fragile they are.

They are the same, but the difference is the squad holding it and its vet...

Maybe giving the 222 some extra armor might help as well. Grens I think are fine - I think pgrens need more attention than grens.

Rifles aren't even worth 280 mp atm since 235 mp folks outperform them at medium range with no extraneous factors. They fall off hard late game against MG-42 grens and obers, not to mention the fact that after vet 3 folks slowly become all but impervious to bullets. Early game power is the only thing USF can count on and nerfing that would make the faction irrelevant.

Vet 3 Volks are on par with conscripts, Rifles will continue to beat them for a while, and if you get 1919's and BARS you will continue to own Volks no matter how high vet they become.

Hardly the point since behind every 2-3 volks is at least one Ober squad with heat seeking MG-34 rounds.

Then your problem is with Obers, not Volks. Nobody actually think's Obers are fine, but the reason they exist is because if you went BG HQ you need Ober's to deal with the blob.

Many people have suggested multiple fixes, not really an issue of "how" any more but "if".

Never gonna happen. Grens can be reinforced on-the-fly from a HT behind a wall or a command bunker from behind the damn wall (Fix that relic).

Its cons which need a buff. They are useless late game in which they become a merely caping unit.

Stalingrad wasn't late in the war though! It was like, toward the latter end but in the middle.

Stalingrad is how most combat was done in WW2. Urban close and personal fighting.

And BTW Relic, soviet cons were throwing nades at germans, tons of nades, not molotovs.

Molotov is a AT weapon which is still good even against Abrams. Throw it at diesel engine at the back of the turret and watch black (or double black) yanks jumping out in 30 secs.

Good stuff on budget.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it isn't anymore, the measures they take nowadays to prevent ammo cook-off if the tank gets destroyed probably also applies to the case of molotov cocktails. I'm also told it especially wouldn't work on an Abrams on account of hitting its engine wouldn't do harm it at all because the damn thing already burns hotter than any molotov could (also, guzzles gas like a frat boy on beer, but that's besides the point).

...man, if that were the case, you'd be the worst sleeper agent ever.

No wait, you did figure me out though, so I guess that's like 50/50.
