kv8 basically is a kv1 without a flamethrower.

It even has KV-1 lines.. "KV-1 rolling" or something.

The KV-1 was in the pre-Alpha "Moscow" multiplayer map that I played in Cologne last summer.

Except that the KV-8 has a 45mm main gun and the KV-1 has a 76mm gun.

I'm very excited about co-op missions. I didn't really like the tov modes, and coh didn't give much else besides comp-stomps and 2v2/3v3. In my experience, it is difficult to get a friend into CoH because of the high learning curve.

When I was a noob, my friend managed to get me to download JointOps, a co-op mod for coh, and that was the only time where I felt I was really playing with him to achieve an objective, despite his much greater skill.

Now that I am much better, I hope the co-op is well designed and that I can use the missions to get my friends into coh. Aspects like "no base buildings" in the mission may help with the learning curve when playing together. With 18 different missions, there is bound to be a couple good co-op ones.

also the fact that just being heavier wasn't enough as the germans started making stuff that could pen the kv1. and they did try to up gun with the kv85 (which was part of the inspiration for the is series)

Yep they said they would have been silent for a month or so since they are very busy finishing the development
