Well title says it all really, I took a break from CoH for about 5 months and I come back to see these things nerfed to borderline uselessness when it comes to price-return ratio.
Even on a map like semois I tried to build a single german howi to destroy a pesky American defence, bad move two barrages and it couldn't even kill a single MG squad covering the middle VP on the map before the other player simply called in off map arty to destroy all my MP investment.
I suggest either the AoE/damage gets a slight buff or the scatter gets reduced, these things are a joke right now compared to say the B-4 that imo is a good example of arty being balanced correctly.
Werh static howitzer needs a buff

In my honest opinion it should keep it's current damage but just fire a lot more shells in a more accurate area. Make it a good area denial weapon that punishes blobs.

I agree. Buff the ML-20 also. They both got whacked way too hard with the nerf bat (although the pre-nerf LeFH was pretty ridiculous). IIRC the nerf simply reduced the amount of shells by 50% for both. If they increase the number of shells per barrage to somewhere between the old number and the current number, I think these would be quite nice again.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Give soviets/american's something to counter static arty. (They already kinda have this in the b4) and I wouldn't see a problem with the LeFh being like it used to be.

I think both the leFH 18 and ML-20 could use some accuracy buff - conventional artillery pieces were more accurate than rocket artillery, while in game you can bring the Katyusha or Panzerwerfer closer to the target and enjoy accuracy like you can't dream of with the howitzers.

the damage currently sucks but i think giving it a BIG aoe of 20-30 damage, and maybe more shells, would work.
