Why does M20 needs more MP than a OKW flakHT or Puma?

Wondering whats the reason a FLak HT or Puma costs less in MP than a M20?

A lil MP increase wouldnt hurt MP floating OKW faction :unsure:

Maybe because they cost 67.5 & 105 O-fuel, and not just 20?

Also not sure why OKW would be floating in MP o_O?

Most OKW matches i have watched or played as tend to float MP towards mid or late game compared to US or even ostheer.

OKW reinforcement cost on Volks i feel is a bit low increase it a tiny bit.


anyways so does having higher fuel cost justify lower MP ?? :huh: ( i know you mitigated fuel penalty to arrive at the cost you posted :p)

Well, it doesn't justify it, but if you would increase the MP cost on their light vehicles as well you might ruin a lot of balancing.
They kinda need to have MP for their cheap cannon fodder and costly DPS whore reinforcements.
(edit: i assume this, i obv. don't know the actual reasoning behind this)

Overall you're right, it's not very intuitive, but neither is their whole ressource situation.

Btw.: i never swim in any MP when i play OKW, nor do i see decent players having anything leftover :huh:?

Except M20 comes in at 5 minutes which is barely into anything close to mid-game.

Because its one of the most powerful and flexible light vehicles in the game.

Four crew members in an m20.
Two in a halftrack.



(Also each faction has a different economy. Unit costs exists to control timings more than anything else.)

I am OK with m20 cost any less would encourage spam... But the low mp of aaht or puma can be increased by 50-60 as the timing now is pretty close m20 has bout 40-50 secs to plant more be and harass before a okw light vehicles.

Because balance, the field timing of M20 is already crazy fast, MP cost is its only reasonable cost.

M20's MP cost is fine considering just how hard it can devastate unprepared Ostheer.

Also M20 can beat both Puma and 251/17, if only indirectly.

you could say the same thing about okw. you can get a flak half track out quite early if you want to. playing against the OKW my main thought is always "screw everything else, need to get captain ASAP"
