You can still use it as a recon tank for ZIS guns lying around. Use it to hunt MG crew that is killing your men. Hide it to kill retreating vet troops.

T70 is op. Destroys infantry with that rapid firing 45. I wonder why more people won't use it.

Unless you like having a P4 break through your lines, or be owned by a Puma, you need the T-34's AT potential. T-70 isn't worth the 70 fuel when you can wait for the far more versatile T-34 at 100.

I mean, T3 already has pretty bad AT as it is. Delaying it even further by getting the easily contered and overpriced T-70 is just asking to be pounded into dust by Panzers.

It can work against on 1v1 against OH, but still risky. Not worthy against OKW when Volks have access to shrecks.

Also it is a micro sink unit, AND you have to use it when on the lead.

The t70 is useless vs okw period, it will just get shreked to death or hunt down by a puma. It comes to late to be any use vs the ostheer unless the player is saving for a Tiger then that gives you room to do some damage if you have the micro.

I never have problems using against Ost. Actually the T70 is very rewarding for the Micro and it can do two things a T34 cant.

1.) Clear out Paks even supported with ease due to its ROF.

2.) At vet 2 Kill its own fauster like a KV8.

Also its kick as recon. Its also alot faster and has more site range. PIV is never a problem for my T70s but shreks are.

Against OKW everything Soviet sucks save for Maxim Spam or Sniper spam...which is why I sadly have given up on my beloved Soviets. I want to play my way not with the three doctrines and no teching that Relic wants me to play.

The PTRS's are fine as they are. Whenever i'm up against Guard Infantry, I always have to be careful with my vehicles or the Guards will completely destroy them. Good range, good damage and fairly cheap; if anything, the PTRS should nerfed since it's ridiculously good for the price. Even in the hands of Conscripts, the PTRS's are extremely potent.

They key when building a T70 is to get vet1 ASAP then you can prevent units from harassing your cut-offs etc for the rest of the game.

Because T34/76 sucks donkey balls and paying 170 fuel for that single T70(because rest will be pumped into call-ins unless you have one of these "I can beat you with anything" games) for some reason doesn't have much appeal for masses.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

The only use I find currently to T70 is to counter infiltration infantry (falls, jli, sturmtroops).

Even so is too expensive, comes too late and locks you in T3 which currently is shit.
