Yeah the Title says it all.
And the Red Flaires are a Weak Pont too, Enemys can flee very fast and it's very expensive.

true!
especially compared with the german bombin strike (in a row) which impacts sometimes quite faster than you can see the red flaires whats mean good bye to every thin in de bombin area.

on my opinion the soviet impact should be faster maybe 4 - 5 seconds....not 9-10...
or make the german one slower.

It is absolutely devastating to everything it hits. You can use it to annihilate static positions or with a little more practice retreating heavy tanks.

Use it in combination with other abilities or use your guards to button and or mark target a heavy german tank.. I have killed jagtigers with this before.

I agree that this IL2 bombing strike is slow to reach its target but it can be effective after you button an enemy tank or drop it behind a tank's retreat path. It is excellent against Jagdtigers since Jagdtigers can be easily stunned by almost any anti-tank units.

With button nerfed, IL-2 has lost most of its usefulness.

Only OKW trucks or PaK 43 emplacements deserve that waste of ammo.

Have you seen new button?

Unless armor drives over USF M20 mine, IL-2 will mis even jagdtiger.

Yes I have dropped it over the Jagdtige plenty of times. The Jagd can still back out of it. It does a lot of damage, but it is painfully slow and unreliable

you need to use some sort of vehicle snare to set up the bombing strike. mines, button, at grenade, ram.

I forgot how much Ammo it costs? 200 or 240 for this it's too slow and the Red Flares are a great amber light!

So thats the Point Alpharius
Only Germans are ALLOWED to have STRONG things.
Allied or Soviet strong things only on a smaller scale ~ :-(

Weak? If il2 bomb strike is weak then i don't know what is strong. V-2? Nuclear missile? Srsly, combined with mark target il2 bomb strike can kill any tank.

Slow? Did you see slow abilities? Like railroad arty with 10 sec or so charging time? IL-2 is not slow, its really easy to land it on forced to backpedal jagd/ele. In previous patch guards button duration was enough to land it perfectly on top of enemy tank.

Maybe - maybe stuka dive bomb should cost 180 muni instead of 160, but 200muni cost perfectly reflects power of il2 bomb strike.

I think that the flare shouldn't pinpoint exactly where the bomb is going to hit, it makes too easy to avoid the slow bomb strike.

It should be just a single flare marking a random point inside a small radius where the bomb is predicted to land.
The enemy player will know that a bomb strike is incoming, but he won't know the exact pixel where the bomb will land.

The red smoke isn't the problem, it's a symptom of a greater problem. Which is the lack of ways to slow German armour. This has been the problem with soviets for a long time, sure you at guns and su-85s can kill the tanks, if they are stupid enough to stick around for any period of time.

Honestly though, these bombs are devastating, I hit a tiger B with it (after ramming and stunning it with a t-34) and it took 3/4 of its health.

Now that being said, 340 mp, 240 ammunition and 100 fuel to kill the tank, (not including the chucks of infantry and at guns it killed) is no small price to pay.

IL-2 bombing run is far from weak and is quite effective as far as globals go.

Nobody says it's weak.

But unless your enemy is sleeping is too easy to avoid.
Flares pinpoint the exact point where the bombing will strike and the plane takes too long to arrive.

Guard's button was one of the only things that made IL-2 Bombing Strike appealing, but since button nerf it's only an expensive arty call against emplacements.
