They seem to re-target all the time resulting in a lot less shooting.

ive been noticing the same thing with mgs a lot lately. they just keep switching between windows even when a squad is within the arc. its even more annoying with mgs since it results in no shooting
maybe a new bug?

Yeah, agree with the Mgs! Had a match yesterday where the enemy everytime just attacke from one side, but my MG, even while the enemy was shooting at the house, was constantly switching windows :/

I noticed my MG 42 do that. It was 12 seconds before he finally started shooting, one burst before moving again. I removed him from the building.

Yea, reported that to Relic already. It's super annoying and seems to have sprung up sometime during WFA development. They do not want the enemy to be in their field of fire, but they want them to be in the best possible field of fire it seems. That's why even when they could shoot they switch windows.
Falls and HMGs are probably the units where it's most noticeable, but AFAIK it's true for every unit. It's just that these have long and noticeable reload time (~2+ seconds) so you really see them switching and taking their time before shooting.
