Flak emplacement

Hi folks,

i think the Flak emplacement is currently just junk and a waste of ressources. It can not suppress, deals not really damage, can not gain veterancy unlike the emplacements from the Panzerelite in CoH 1 and is only hitting the ground.

I think this piece of junk needs some love.

Any opinions?

It also gets decrewed by a single sniper shot as I have seen on StephenJF's stream. And it has same issue with hitting the ground as the Flak Halftrack.

+1, need some love, and my fav. move, when 2 sniper shoot make decrewed this whole ting, for charging enemy infantry :D I dont know what is the real purpose for this, maybe some light AT capability?

Well, the emplacement should be something similar to the Bofors in CoH1. Good against infantry, so some serious damage and denying the enemy further movement with light vehicles as it should do some serious damage

decrewed by a single conscript squad with a molotov.
Better to invest your ressources for an MG34 and Im still perplexed why the flak emplacement cost fuel.

I was pretty sure that the second guy from an emplacement just ran away after the other guy got shot by a sniper, similar to support weapons, but if you say this is not the case I cannot guarantee anymore for it.

Nevermind, on topic, no matter 1 or 2 shoot was, this thing for me not worth his price, useless.

Are you sure it does not suppress? I always thought they did suppress.

It does hit the ground often, that needs fixing.

No, if can shoot right the enemy inf, supress as hell. My problem with this, lots of time shoot the ground, or other obstacles, but not the enemy, who can drop on your empla nade-molotov easy, or snipe with maximum 2 sniper shoots, gained a decrew emplacement, what you can build as OKW for FUEL and DOCTRINAL. No logic for me here...

Flak turret is perfectly fine. it shoots paratroopers out air reall y easy, kills important planes. good vs light vehicles if u got support. its soso vs inf but I don't think that's its job. it smashes air its a anti air turret. u guys want it to be good vs all things?

Does it have the same gun as the flak halftrack? If so, I've had awkward situations where I'd have a unit behind cover with the flak halftrack supporting it, but since that thing loves hitting the ground / objects it ends up suppressing MY units instead of the enemy.

I haven't tried the flak emplacement yet nor have seen it used much.

Frostbite, how many times build Flak empl. in a real, ranked games vs a equal opponent as OKW? You think worth his price, for shoot out badly dropped paratroopers/planes from air?

the damage output on this thing when it actually hits something isnt all that bad. it pretty consistently kills 1-2 sometimes even 3 models PER BURST. the problem is actually landing shots on target, and terrain really fucks it up. if you place it on raised terrain its not all that bad, but its 2 man crew is a real bummer.
