I'd rather see a doc with Rangers + M4A3E2 Jumbo. Although the Jumbo shipped with a 75mm gun, many were refitted with 76mm guns once they reached Europe. There were even reports that the Jumbo was bouncing Tiger shells!

I think shermans with HE rounds are adequate to deal with all those infantry. If you simply must use infantry, upgraded paratroopers are pretty good at blob control too.

Maybe a buff to the bazookas would help out a bit late game. If they were a bit more reliable they could be better at supporting armor against heavies and panthers. As well as taking out the heavy tank destroyer. I haven't really been able to make good use of them. They hardly pen P4s.

The howie gan carraige is shite and is expencive, the light howie from t3 is shite aswell with a crazy price tag and mortar HT is is worthless. To get the most out of these unit requires massive amount of micro and baby sitting, they are not cost effective at all.

Ost 81mm mortar and okw support gun can be placed in a good spot and just left aloan to cause masive causutities with little micro, same as soviet mortars with maybe a little more micro

M8A1 seems pretty accurate and good enough to me. Especially considering they can fire indirectly. Those things are annoying on maps with lots of shot blockers and they can also blast you directly at considerable range which instant-gibs infantry. Also it fires rather quickly.

I think more people actually need to use them, just not drive them into pak guns.

If OKW turtles you can just get some arty and make him pop out. In my experience the M8A1 howitzer motor carriage is a decent anti inf.

Maybe, but then nobody would use any other doctrine in 2v2s because you would always need it if you survive to lategame. I think the problem is more structural. USA needs to be weaker early on, and stronger later on. Asymmetrical balance based on how early or late in the game we are is and has always been a terrible idea.

M8A1 is the key to bleeding your opponent in the late game. Good range, accuracy, ROF and mobility + LOL smoke at vet 1.
