Id prefer to not nerf it stat wise - i can always make more infantry for AI instead of wasting fuel on a pea shooter. If both come out a bit later, then ill go with that.

Sovs get the M5 (M3 HT that's now only a doctrinal option), the ZPU (Quad), so on and so forth...

I swear the T28 MGMC was a ridiculously rare PoS in reality...

Then again, 'Westheer' has hordes of the Luchs and other super-rare designs as its mainstay.

Problem is that if you nerf the US halftrack you must nerf the OKW halftrack as well. Without the US halftrack the US have no counter for a good 1-2 mins.


Reduce OKW starting fuel to 0, increase cost of US halftrack to 70? It's a very lethal vehicle and would definitely not be overpriced even at that level. Or, the autocannon could retain anti-vehicle potency while losing much of the infantry-destroying power it has to reduce impact as a shock unit. At the same time the OKW halftrack would be delayed by 4 minutes (currently OKW hcan set up the trucks right out the gate).

It has something like a 270 degree firing arc. It can shoot things slightly to the front of it, jut can't face entirely forward.


like i said it can not shoot forwards lol

When they come out there plenty of ways to counter it, but I would prefer the infantry stage of the game to last longer before vehicles come out.


+1, light vehicle rush strats are kinda boring in the long run.

About The OKW Halftrack don't think its been mentioned yet, on the new winter map for 1v1 (not sure about the name) OKW can salvage all the fuel early game and get a crazy fast halftrack.
I got mine at like 2:45 if im not mistaken it was the second unit built, built 1 volks plus the starting sturmpios, upgrade the supply truck and instant halftrack.
don't know if this will be fixed soon or if its intended.

zis/pak do a job :P. I ussualy get Jagdpanzer as a counter to it cause you can get it quickly too.

I'd like to see the US one to remain as is, but be upgradable. Ie., 100 muni for that thing seems reasonable. Could be a garrisoanble M5 like the Russian one. An LT in an M5 could be, er, questionable though...

Then US has to pick between spamming bars/LMGs, or halftrack upgrade, right now I think US is floating in munitions, and part of the problem is they don't really have ANY hard munitions choices.

Are you kidding? US has the most munitions options of any faction on any stage of the game. This statement is wrong on so many levels.

Yes, and it's really not difficult to get bars and zooks, or LMGs and zooks, or whatever combo you like.

They don't have any HARD choices.

I agree with Ciez and Cataclaw here. The OKW flaktrack recieved a small nerf while the US remained untouched. The US AA Halftrack is basically the go to vehicle for most players. The mobile suppression, and not to mention the lack of setup time, makes it a little too strong considering how early it comes out. Don't forget how it can tank an OKW flaktrack with extreme ease. The American AA Halftrack definitely needs toning down.

They are one role vehicle. Upgrading them would mean they would get another role.

Upgrade your brain. The problem with this unit is that it even beats even puma's and has vastly superior AI compared to the german track i would say this unit is worth 85 fuel.
