You can use the 1st truck you start off with to push/crush infantry, to ensure you win your 1st few engagements. They are durable enough that it is low risk. I'm not sure what I can talk about regards to the Alpha and NDA, so i'll leave it at this, I believe this is a balance issue that probably needs addressing.
For anyone wishing to recreate this, drive your 1st truck at infantry like a big lawn mower. Micro it like a VCoh jeep, except much tougher.

People were mentioning this already in the alpha, looks like relic didn't manage to fix this.
The reason why this became later an issue:
The whole OKW resource system was changed, you were having significant disadvantages when you would delay your truck deployment.
Since Trucks became independent from the economy like (must've been the last patch) trucks were used to harrass the enemy in the beginning.
People were obviously complaining, but it wasn't fixed ;(
Is a brainless grief, against the spirit of coh and should be addressed asap.

I guess to... i dont know, keep them from getting stuck in places (and deploying where there are lots of obstacles)? British lorries from vCoH also had heavy crush, but they were much slower.

As I understand it, Relic intended the truck to have crush, and thus it is a balance issue, not usage of a bug. It ain't cheating, it's just using an "OP" unit.
How it made final release, who knows?!

To be fair, the game did launch a little early if that has anything to do with the cooking update. They should make it like the Brit's truck and have it take more damage when its packed up allowing for a counter as well as making it a challenge to move.

Dude.
When you experience a truck (that is free) crushing 10 men very early in the game and is then abused several games in a row, you might understand why I am frustrated. Also I did not say it was a cheat, just that it felt like it because of how abusive it is.

Can't believe this is still a thing. It's bad enough they trucks mess with unit AI let alone crushing.
Personally I don't abuse it because it just isn't in the spirit of the game and just is not fun to play against, the only "counter" is M3 car which ofc US do not have.
