T-34/85 is so fast it'll close range instantly,if u managed to kite t-34/85s with panther plz show.
Pen is not really as imp vs mediums since panther's pen was good even before.
And armour is useless once the second t-34 flanks u or he just uses mark target.
Panther has NO ai.T-34/85 2-3 shots squads and at guns.Panther has no chance vs t-34/85.U can get it earlier/cheaper and not only be better at AI but also AT.
When a unit that costs 175 fuel is same health as that costs 130 fuel,and when building that unit takes 400 fuel while u can get 2 of the other for less than 300 fuel....well.
The PTRS's are fine as they are. Whenever i'm up against Guard Infantry, I always have to be careful with my vehicles or the Guards will completely destroy them. Good range, good damage and fairly cheap; if anything, the PTRS should nerfed since it's ridiculously good for the price. Even in the hands of Conscripts, the PTRS's are extremely potent.

Given how easy and cheaper it is to obtain the 85s ,I rest my case.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

You compared the HPs as justification of the entire unit. That is false logic. I corrected you. You are not comparing apples to apples. Simple as that.
Performance is independent of cost. If the Panther was a single call in for the same price as a T34/85 it would win every time. Because its a superior unit.

Panther is a complete pos for its cost. It can be taken out by even t34/76 if the soviet player has even a iota of brain

I used to play soviets back in the days of opel and strafe spam.
But now I play Germans now exclusively because soviets are an ultra easy mode faction.

Its been said before, but it deserves repetition: Cost-effectiveness is the single most important measure of performance in this game. In this regard, the Panther just doesnt cut it as of now. I'd much rather have two P4s instead.

Its not superior its a dedicated TD. And dedicated units should be really good at what they are doing as represent a severe risk buying them.
