USA Major (3 men) abilities:

-create retreat point
-artillery strike, 120 muni
-recon overflight, 50 muni
-Fake artillery strike, 20 muni

USA Lt. (5 men)
-grenade
-smoke rifle grenade

I don't think the Capt squad was shown.


Good thing is, fake artillery strike and real artillery strike can be distinguish easily. But, in the heat of the action, it might work.

Looks good, although it will be expensive. Probably only 1 can be realistically fielded vs. 2 Tigers max for ostheer. I can kind of figure out how the unit is going to be as the Tiger I was very OP during the first few months of coh2.

It's going to be slower in all aspects than the Tiger I. But it's have a great main gun with penetration that exceeds the Panther's. (240) Front armor will be even higher than the Tiger I.

So I'm most curious about its rear armor. The Tiger I already has a pretty good rear (180) but the Tiger II would have an even better one.

The IS-2's rear is 205. So maybe the Tiger II will have a rear that's between 300-250? Basically, its rear may be like the Tiger I's front.

Looks like the KT is non-doctrinal, this thing will be the ultimate AT-wall buster when Spearhead + Combat Blitz is activated. I wonder with 5 level of vet, how long will it take for KT to reach vet 5, if it is at the rate like the current Tiger, it will need an awful lot of kills.

I felt that way about the Terror doctrine KT from vcoh. Not that having a slow rolling bunker wasn't effective, but that type of gameplay is not my style.

The Tiger I was a more balanced performer in vcoh and unlike the KT, it could keep up with stugs and so forth.

Fatter cat is just a fatter cat, I don't like it.

Neither do the shit nerfed panther.

Any decent CoH1 player will tell you the King Tiger in its final form was absolute crap.

Too slow to do anything against players who can micro.

I think in the last elite mod tournament Terror was by far the most popular doctrine. Placing the KT ont he middle of semois is quite strong.

Its turret is so slow "any other unit" can out maneuver it.
