West Germans have Fallschirmyaegers, Americans have paratroopers, if the Soviet Union with the release of DLC will not add paratroopers it would not be fair.
I'd rather soviet marine infantry.

Change is a good thing. And i find WFA to be a very interesting and amazing change, despite the doubts of going back to the Western Front.

Marines also engaged in parachuting in a battle for the Crimea. But I would like to see paratroopers, the Red Army used them for their intended purpose are much more likely than the rest of the army, but why it is not included in the game

Mostly because they already have an infiltration unit with the partisans. They don't need two different units that provide the same role even if they are a bit different. Especially when there is a lot more things they can do that is far more representative of the soviet army.

It's easy to say why not, but when there is money and time involved it's better to ask why.

Partisans are so weak in this game for me they do not exist.

So, can we discuss any units not on Nouns list that were revealed via the Relic stream? I would love to go into some detail on the M8 Howitzer Carriage.I asked and he said no. He said the list would expand later, but we can't say anything right now.

they are also shown in soviet storm the TV documentary a fair amount.
the Soviet use of these units was on a far more tactical level than a strategic one, often dropping relatively small units of these men behind the lines to sabotage or engage German units. In contrast the US and British use of these forces was very strategic in large scale operations. Therefore they sort of would fit in the context of CoH much better for the soviets than the US, but oh well.

What is not commonly known in the West is the fact that the Soviets were pioneers in Airborne doctrine/operations until the purges (and then subsequently, Germany took the lead with their elite 7th Flieger division) and that the fact that the Soviet Airborne arm was the largest in the world with 10 airborne corps (100,000 men) US and British Airborne were a comparably late invention.
The Soviet Airborne were the real elite troops of the Red Army and took part mostly in small scale, often brigade sized drops.
Depending on what year, there were, at their height, 20 Airborne corps (~220,000 Paras). They followed the fate of the Fallschirmajager- the Soviets converted most of them to Guards rifle divisions after mid 1943 and most no longer perform airborne ops.

The funny thing is, the 'vision' statements and Quinn Duffy's statements about the historical concept OKW and US are basically wrong. (it's just a game, but still). I think most serious ww2 enthusiasts would disagree as it contradicts the literature.
