Hands on Western Fronts Armies

Vehicles come REAL late and sparingly. You have to use your sturmpioneers and kubelwagen for taking over the middle VP's, possibly pushing into their fuel to survive the late game. OKW have a good early game, but they are screwed late game.
You must also prepare yourself by building up early AT somehow. Massed tanks will be coming from your enemy, and yourself having more expensive tanks and 1/3rd the income is not in your favor..
Hey so does the bonus from caches and Opels get reduced too? If not than Assault Support Commander will be OKW's best buddies. Opels + Strafe will give KT a field day.

Ratekenwerfer is decent. Ofc Pak40 is far superior but they will do.
Good. It looks like some sort of troll unit due to its size...
Take note that the second truck that is on the field at the 4th minute can produce panthers. i doubt they need such excessive AT
Good point. Now that I've looked at it again, Spanky is 180 fuel by Minute 14. Someone here said that OKW has good early and mid game, but then poor late game.

Overall, it looks like Heavy Panzer Headquarters is a very skippable tier.

Personally I like it much more that way, it's something I've always wanted. It looks much sleeker now.

Well, okay we will have to deal with "Over-soldiers" then. I just pray there won´t be a voice-line: "Obersoldaten reporting."

The game will contain "Obersoldaten". Relic, really? Is it so hard to get someone who can actually speak German at your place? Hell, I would have made it for free.

I talked to my German friend and he said Obersoldaten means "most important soldiers" or "high ranking soldiers", so while it's still odd, it doesn't seem so bad.
Well, I can't complain on their name in my native language version, its suitable and awesome, not sure if I can share it yet thou.
Well we all know Obersoldaten exist, and I don't think localisation is under NDA

I´m German too and I have never ever heard of that word.

Behold then the Honor Guard.
That's badass.

I went back to ask my friend and he heard it before, I know another German I can ask later Even if it's not a real unit, neither were "Shock Troops" or "Conscripts". Shock Troops were "Assault Engineers" and carried explosives to clear obstacles and defenses, and Conscripts were just trained and organized among the rest of the Infantry and not a distinguished unit type.

There was something in the wehrmacht called "Oberschütze" which was also sometimes called "Obersoldat".
