For those of you who don't know, Steve Blum is an extremely prominent voice actor. He's in some ridiculous number of games and animated tv shows. In Company of Heroes 1, he was the "Faction voice" for USA as well as doing several American unit voices.
The guy's voice is aweseome and I used to love lines like "One of our units was.... anihilated". It would be awesome if he could fill this role again in CoH2 Western Front Armies now that we'll have the American faction again.
Will Steve Blum return for Western Front Armies?

Judging from the trailer, sounds like they got the same people who did rising storm for the Americans. I mean the actual units.

My dream would be for them to get Kiefer Sutherland. The man was epic WaW, but Relic probably doesn't have the money for that.

Based on Steve's IMDB list I can't imagine he turns down a solid paying role. Fingers crossed, but it's too late to change now anyway - content is about to launch!

Also, the soviet voice actors aren't Russians. They mispronounce everything.
They seemed to go more for comedy and ignored drama.

With the German commender I believe you mean the announcer. The one who says a panzer 4 has arrived and you lost etc. he's actually native German (this guy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VcMk85ZsBh0) and I personally think Wolf Kahler is better than the one in CoH1

Nothing really wrong with current voices. I do miss a lot of the personality and flavor stuff from coh1, units randomly chatting when you had the camera near them and stuff. I might be crazy but I don't recall any of that in coh2

Lol they still chat if you have camera hovering over them, at least on the spanish version of CoH2

The German commander voice is actually a pretty famous typecasted actor. He played lots of german soldiers.
He was the main Nazi commander in Raiders of the Lost Arc.

Engineer unit was probably my favourit voiced unit, after that both snipers. "Heart or head, either way, jerry's dead." - "I could have been a luftwaffe ace you know?"
Honestly a lot of the writing and even the actual voicing in coh2 is sub par compared to coh1. Its not even nostalgia talking, a lot of the lines are just uninspired and boring, not to mention indian sounding grenadiers. Then again I don't meet many people with german accents so I guess I'm not the best judge on that, v0v.
Here's hoping western armies are more interesting, and better cast.

Quinton Flynn voiced the American sniper in CoH. He is more famously known for being Raiden in the Metal Gear Solid series.
