Soviets still have no infantry based AT

They really need to give Penals a Bazooka upgrade for example because currently there are so many gaps in the counter system without anti infantry based AT. They also really should rework Anti Tank grenades to make them more like stickies, really short range or (medium range that gets cancelled if the vehicle drives out of range during animation.) but yet does lots of damage. So it's harder to land AT grenades because you can't just oorah and throw it head on without any effort, but with short range you'll have to flank and out play your opponent, but when you do will be rewarded with the ability to actually damage vehicles with Soviet infantry, which would be fantastic. Because currently Soviets are way too Commander specific relying on the Commander heavy tank call ins to deal with the German armour on the base faction.

Has anyone tested out the new tutorial? The PTRS in it, if the Guards PTRS was like that, then no one would complain about this issue anymore.

Guards can fuck up a tank pretty bad bro
Not since last patch. Now pretty much all tanks are much more lethal against infantry and the PTRS got a range nerf for some reason.

Yes.
Shocks are the only infantry in game that have armor and for a good reason as they are completely ineffective unless they stick ppsh into germans butthole.

Yes, there is. The tutorial tells you to pick up a dropped PTRS and it fires rapid-fire. It actually felt useful.

All the AT options available and you want hand-held heavy AT too? Penals with captured schreks (not hard to make happen btw) are already crazy powerful.

Replacing it with the panther, sure. It would make soviets lives much easier flanking nonturreted vehicles. No seriously, that is a DOWNGRADE.
