Stukd Bomb strike is not actually a problem to me. The only problem with that thing is when they drop on my arty.

But yes, Elephant does have a hell of a sight - so crazy with that thing.

ISU is still squad wiper. Bring me AT gun, Mg, infantry or whatever, I will wipe them clean of the map. If I can mark a P4 that rush into me then it's still gonna die lol...

After some more games I agree that something must to be done to ISU-152 long range potential. I would like to point out however that similar tweak need to be done to Elephant as well as its potential is equally crazy.
I think changes to long range accuracy (or whatever is called in CoH2) would be a good idea.
Longer range - smaller chance to hit something. This way both tanks could still be super range units but not as lethal as they are right now.

Ive been using Elefant since a lot months, and I can say Elefant has pretty shit accuracy at max range.

Range is OK. Just reduce accuracy with distance.

That won't help with ISU being AT, AI, and long range. Elephant needs a sight decrease on binocs that's for sure. 75 range for would help considering how small most of the maps are in all modes.

I'd really like to see both Elephant and ISU-152mm hard capped at 1 and have a lock down ability similar to the KV-2.

At the moment both are too powerful and have no counter.

I dont think ranged accuracy should be the nerf, it should be in rear armor and close range penetration. The problem is even if you get close to these things that out range everything, they are still hard to kill, except with other heavies. I think at close range,frontal shots and rear armor shots against them should have higher penetration values than current ones.

An accuracy nerf does nothing to address the fact that if it does connect it will still 1-shot your squad. That change would just make the game even more RNG-dependent.

No but they have satchel charges. Trust me you plant like 3 of those on it its not so bad.

If it only wasn't for that MG42 wall before the elephant and ostwind next to it...

AT nading 1000+hp doesn't sound like an idea either and its rather hard to surprise ele with AT guns due to tunnel vision and map hacking scopes.

If u happen to get panzers or a panther, and the opponent saves up for an ISU (which you can't predict easily, since he could just have a commander that saves up T34/85s). Then you'll have a much harder time than the Soviets.

ISU just needs to be restricted to come out later. Higher CP, or that it requires T3/T4. It doesn't fit well that a heavy late war tank can come so early.

If your opponent goes ISU and you don´t have an Elefant (talking 2v2), you´re absolutely right.
The second statement is also right, but it´s still not a viable counter. Those tanks get engine damage from fausts 100% of the time. If the Elefant is halfway protected (which THEY always are), you will lose the smaller tanks one by one while the Elefant needs repairs at best (= you lose MP/fuel, he doesn´t).

It´s annoying how every 2v2 has turned into ISU vs. Elefant, which the latter wins.
Both need a nerf as suggested in Cruzz´ thread. And apart from that, yes, the ISU should not be so strong vs Inf after the AT buff.
