If you did well in early game and float fuel you could consider producing SU-76 to counter Ostheer SdKfz. 251 Halftrack or OKW Flak HT/Luchs. This is the niche I see suited for SU-76 and where I successfully made it useful.

SU-76 is good in great numbers its really pain in the ass. depends on the game map like if you play open field map and no obstruction like buildings yes its is deadly in open field but luck of fighting capabilities if they where buildings that lessen its range capabilities which is quite more handy in open field combat
