OK we've all been critical of what we don't like.

Let's celebrate and talk about what we like that they've done so far:

I'm a big fan of the mg formations with the mg gunner not dying all the time.

Sandbag build times being slowed.

Conscripts with mollies/at grenades

Oh wait you forum warriors probably haven't even played the balance mod..... :luvDerp:

Big fan of ISU nerfs, and ostWIN rush for OKW. Scavenge back on the menu.

Big fan of the reload button,even though i havent used it much myself in the few games i played, it was very needed

I most love the mg formation change, the mortar no longer share cooldowns, and that ram didnt go the way of the demo.

A very very very long overdue nerf to skill howitzers and OKW backteching to medics no longer half-killing your game off. Obers coming earlier! Soviet medic upgrade less punishing than before. ISU HE nerf. Getting real tiresome to have to load Jgdtiger/Ele every game.

Sniper nerfs. UKF UC and IS nerfs to cost and capture rate respectively.

Panther acc buff for producing some truly 'spectacular' thread posts.

Rocket arty being nerfed across the board to give more room for actual infantry plays late game.

I'm a fan of most of the changes to be honest. Especially the changes to indirect fire.

I often look for games but never see any. I've tried hosting but nobody joins. I try it in comp stomps but it really isn't like playing against a human. Well, most humans. I have an alt account for playing around. It's really fun to see what you see in 4v4 noob fests if you're not taking it seriously. I just played a game where a Brit built seven Vickers, eight Land Mattresses, and one Firefly. He had up to 5 Land Mattresses at a time, and would just retreat everything after fighting. It was pretty funny to watch all of them go off, with the only downside being that I had to destroy a lot of them after they were abandoned at the front.

As far as the patch goes, most of it looks pretty good. I haven't commented on the good parts, but most of it seems like it will help. Even some of the things that I originally thought were bad like the Jackson and SU85 nerfs won't really be that bad. Manual reload for MG's will be a plus. Lowering Soviet costs for molos/snares. The RA bonus for pios will be good, somewhat wish it was a 0.8 damage multiplier.

I'm so fucking relieved that plane crashes are being adjusted. Just yesterday it happend twice in 1 game *shoots enemy plane* --> *loses 1 entire random squad that was on the move*

99% of the changes are good imo, only thing I didn't get is why Ostruppen didnt get changed more (and ofcourse I favor my own solution in the ostruppen thread).

Hyperbolic perhaps but not that far off. There were some valid points raised admittedly. Sure, I agree with the balance team's decision to have the vet acc removed rather than base acc removed.
