Most of the t34 AI comes from the hull mg does it not? How does the KV1 hull stack up?

The gun is not that bad either but the mg are the same. KV-1 one actually has an extra one in the rear of the turret!

Imo these units would far better designed if their durability come from veterancy and/or if there gun where nerf in one area either AT or AI.

I do not like locking role requirements behind veterency, I cannot agree with this. Also their guns are not good enough to warrant nerfing.

I'm honestly ok with their performance. Neither are dominating the meta and their downsides help offset their durability to cost ratio which is admittedly good.

Downsides being- locking out comets/warspeed(church), takes longer to hit the field due to bonus tech required(church), high pop cost(church), lack of mobility, poor gun for cost, relatively off meta commanders with guards combined arms being the exception(kv-1).

The kv could perhaps have its supply cost increased to 15 or 16 to bring it more inline with the churchill.

Maybe I was not clear enough on this point:

"KV-1
Unlocks the "Hull Down" ability.
+35% weapon rotation speed.
+30% reload speed.
+20% reload speed.
+20% rotation speed.
+20% maximum speed.
"

That more reload speed bonuses than SU-85/SU-76/PZIV and mobility bonuses on parrel with medium tanks.

"Churhcill
Crew will defend tank from inside with Small arms.
Unlocks the "Crew Self Defense" ability.
+35% weapon rotation speed.
+30% reload speed.
+25% rotation speed.
+20% maximum speed.

Engine criticals currently active will disappear upon reaching third veterancy, and engine criticals received therein after take 15 seconds to repair."

That is extra rotation on the heavy tank with one of the highest rotation values.

The bonus I pointed out are imo unsuitable for "heavy infatry support guns" who should be more about durability that mobility/damage. Imo vet bonuses should custom made of each unit and help it improves in intended role/design.

One could reduced the staring armor/HP and provide the same or ever more as vet bonus. That would reduce some of the "shock" value of these vehicles and allow opponent to prepare for them. Price could be adjusted accordingly if there was a need for it.

Agreed with Vipper, change that 20% speed on both to 10% armor or 160 health.
