Im pretty sure there was a treason and defection of certain commanders involved

Treating an ALREADY FIXED exploit like some government classified like thing, now thats sad.
1) The more people know about it the more people might find a way around the fix
2) The issue might reappear after a future patch all people will know how to exploit it

I have never exploited some hack nor I want to, but I am curious to know what it was.

Fair, i surely don't want to know it or want anyone else too.
Thanks for clarifying.

Its not telled because if it was, people might try it after some newer patches, as some exploits and hacks might come back during updates. And i dont want people abusing them in future patches.
Have you read what I posted? I dont want the steps but the exploit itself which was F I X E D.
Please enlighten me, if I tell you that there was some exploit which caused gren to have a shreck what would you do to replicate it? You have 0 idea right?

Im not asking about the steps you have to follow to do the exploit. Im asking what exactly was the exploit like already a lot of people just out of curiousness.

Upgraded Fusiliers with shrek package, they dropped 1 shrek, they could then upgrade with G43 package.
It’s been fixed now so it’s impossible to replicate.
Let’s all move on with our lives now.

Was having a blast match yesterday. I proceeded to save replay to watch it later. Just 1 hour later I started CoH2 again.
Zero warning, it took quick 20mb download and all replays were gone.
Very frustrating every times I recalled.

I hate this kind of out-of-nowhere patch.

You can make it so you can open older replays, obviously they will be messed up if units that had stats changed are involved, but a hotfix like that wouldn't break them.
There should be guide on how to do it somewhere, google it up.

You narrow the variables you have to take into account.
You think about any other prior related bug.
You just start to google it.
In your hypothetical case i would start by messing around with Grenadiers, PG and Stormtroopers. Selecting all units and upgrading at the same time. Putting them inside HT or garrisons. Messing around with default or grid hotkeys. Trying around commanders which add G43/5th man to Grenadiers. Messing around with macro for high speed input. Thinking about packet delaying. Etc.

Okay, I'll spill the beans.
Someone discovered that if an Ost player spammed 9 right-clicks on their artillery officer, followed by 2 backspaces, while "For Mother Russia" was active, the artillery officer could force all nearby Soviet infantry to dance the Babushka. It was first viewed as relatively harmless fun, until a wardrobe malfunction revealed that one of the Penals was wearing women's underwear. Then it had to be hot-fixed.
