[REPRODUCING BUG] M1 81 mortar barrage bug

Managed to steadily reproduce the M1 81 mortar barrage bug, where the mortar team would never fire a regular or smoke barrage, unless moved to an another position.

How to reproduce it: set up your mortar team then order them to barrage into a direction that requires them to pack up and turn the mortar. Wait till the animation for putting down the mortar plays. Cancel the barrage before they can begin firing. Order a new barrage that would once again require them to turn around. They will refuse to do so. Ordering a barrage in their current direction still works.

Nice work!

It seems that the GrW 34 and PM-41 have the same bug with both default and smoke barrages. That means that the bug is related to the mortar implementation in general, not just one model.

I guess that means it can't be fixed then?


Next up we gotta find out why the ostheer Lefh 18 sometimes doesn't respond to artillery officer's coordinated barrage ability.

Not necessarily, but it makes it harder because there is no perfect mortar which can serve as an example. I will toy around with settings from some other indirect fire abilities and see how it responds.

Noice. Looks like the mortar's "ToDo list" does not get properly reset when cancelling the barrage.

I do not know if this is related but pak howitzer used to have bug also and it was fixed.

It seems that certain settings from the pack also solves this issue on the mortars :D

ZiS gun was solved by SneakEye in the previous hotfix patch.

Now the Vilshanka and zis bugs are all that’s left.

Zis bug has been fixed.

However there is also the bug where the lefh is not responding sometimes to artillery officer's coordinated barrage ability.
Also, has the usf M3 (or M5? gotta check, maybe both) HT loosing veterancy upon de- and re-crewing been fixed?
