I think you need to be careful otherwise you're just making underutilized doctrines like mobile defence worse. So a nerf to PT is unwise.

It definitely should not be in doctrines with tigers though, the tiger is already the best heavy. Pixie dust smoke is just the icing on the cake. It's like giving the IS-2 mark target, sure mark target is balanced but giving it to an IS-2 just screws with heavy balance.

Yes some commander abilities combination should not be available. Then these abilities will be easier to balance.

It's mostly an issue because relic wanted DLC money but didn't want to create new content so they recycled Tigers in a third of Ostheers doctrines. Similar thing with soviets bloated commander roster and shocktroops+heavy tanks.

USF, OKW or UKF doctrines for the most part are balanced because they don't have like six combinations of the same powerful units or abilities all mixed together.

Sure USF have a Pershing, paras and skill planes but they don't get it all mixed together like ostheer or soviets do.

But do you alse admit that Pz4 is a crutch unit, a slow smoke is kind of useless in tight situations.
If you had a T70 with a Pz Tactician like smoke OR a smoke canisters with a minor delay, how useful would each one be? Probably both are good but there is no doubt that one is much more useful than the other.

With an useful ability you could push the little T70 to unforseen situations, maybe doubling its worth. But now, if that crutch unit/moment is the only "fair" advantage you can get on a match. Is it imba? (Think twice before answer)

Dont get me wrong, pz tactician is a very good commander ability, the fact it gives smokes to 222 is also way too good.

I was talking about USF and UKF? Since they already get smoke. In no way do I think the t70 should ever have smoke, it's more than good enough

The change this thread is proposing won't effect pz4? Cp5 means you'll have it unlocked before your p4 hits the field

I don't think adding a delay is a good idea either. Was just explaining the difference between the abilities

I would make it a call-in again and keep it at CP 5 but remove Panzer Tactician from the commander and replace it with Smoke Bombs from German Mechanized. Right it comes out a touch too slow because you need 5 CP's and you have to build it. I don't know if it should be limited to 1 like the Valentine though because the Valentine is actually good against all targets while the Puma is an anti-vehicle specialist. T-70 should have a window but it shouldn't be 3+ minutes every game, especially considering how strong it is against infantry and how it scales into the late game with the extra vision and potent vet that allows it to still wipe vetted infantry pretty consistently.

What Stug said, heavy cav is literally one of the best examples of commanders that are too good

I believe Relic even once said they were never going to add the pershing, so its for sure an example of a questionable addition to the game

Tigers are too strong. I hope they nerf its rof vet bonus. Nonsense ability that turns its turret into a mg. Yes Tiger should not have paztac too.

Elefant also should not have spotting scopes.

Blitz should also be looked at. Blitz plus smoke = EZ.

Just replace blitz with more penetrations. So axis fanboys can quiet about their 'poor' penetrations.

Ok, I agree, but I hope they fix the other doctrines, change "Infantry Relief", (be honest, how many times have you used this thing?), One of the most ridiculous skills that exist, if you don't want to improve it, eliminate the Skill is so useless that it is even a waste of interface. Perhaps a buff to the Stuka AT and anti-infantry of Close Air Support to match it with allied counterparts, increase the price and the Cp if they want, the skill and luck that are required to use them without being able to evade them easily and to The little damage they do simply isn't worth it.
