Thread: CoH2 Summer 2021 Balance Patch - BETA28 Aug 2021, 01:20 AM So the bolster cost was reverted but Ostruppen can still get their LMG at BP2? That makes very little sense. All upgrades for Grens are going to be strong at this point plus Ostruppen and Assault Grenadiers are going to still be strong. Not sure why the sprint + camo change was reverted either honestly. Giving continuous buffs to Ostheer isn't a good decision imo. They are probably the best faction in at least 1v1 and 2v2. Otherwise at least they are increasing the cost of the AVRE and Sturmtiger but I kind of wish they just reworked the units instead to be less cancerous, probably too late now to do that though. I also have some concerns with buffing 5-man, I get they want 5-man to be able to compete with 7-man, SVT's, and 5-man Bolster for Brits but I think buffing 5-man is going to leave USF in the dust imo who are going to be able to trade against 5-man unless they go Double Bar or maybe a 1919 behind sandbags at mid to long range. Thread: CoH2 Summer 2021 Balance Patch - BETA24 Aug 2021, 01:08 AM AVRE and Sturmtiger also both need to be looked at, otherwise every 2v2 game is going to be these two wiping squads back and forth constantly. AVRE buffs are mental just like the Sturmtiger was last patch. Doubt anything will be done though seeing as they love ignoring feedback from just about everybody regardless. In: Lobby
Thread: CoH2 Summer 2021 Balance Patch - BETA20 Aug 2021, 08:42 AM I don't know what the obsession is with having Ostruppen get the LMG at BP2. BP3 timing was fine in the past, don't think Ostruppen should get upgrades before other mainlines can when they are absurdly cheap relatively speaking. 1 step forward 2 steps backward with this 2nd version of the patch imo, plus the Sniper change is hardly noticeable now. AT guns also need a slight pop cap increase to address the double AT gun metagame that has existed for years now. Move the LMG back to BP3, if people want to get LMG's faster they can skip Tier 2 and go for the Supply Drop to get a Pak and MG plus extra resources. In: Lobby

Buffing the AVRE is pretty clueless imo, already a strong unit in the current patch in a decent commander. Thread: The state of Sturmtiger23 Jul 2021, 03:31 AM Yeah mind boggling a unit this annoying previously was buffed. But knowing balance team if 49.99% of the community thinks its overperforming they will argue that everyone else thinks its balanced. If the unit is going to be this strong, multiple other things need to be reverted. KT and Sturmtiger should not be available together and it should get abandoned if somebody shoots it while reloading so they can at least wipe veterancy off the unit if the opponent makes a mistake with the unit. Again multiple people said this would be a problem before the patch came out and they decided to ignore that feedback and low and behold the unit is too strong. In: COH2 Balance
